  1. Omg stop trying to make Kyle Ryan a thing. Every horsefeathering night
  2. Cubs are what 2-16 with risp this series and one of those hits was the 58 mph exit velocity grounder. Glad to get some BABIP luck but this offense needs to get better
  3. After watching Dodger pitching completely destroy our incredibly streaky offense all weekend, I can’t wait to face Giolito this week
  4. Hmm I guess Q is not going to repeat Jake’s performance on SNB in LA
  5. Don't worry; the Cubs have their own version in...*checks notes*...Carlos Gonzalez. *Burns notes* Hey at least we were able to turn bote from a non-prospect into an above average utility IF
  6. Win tomorrow and finish 8-5 in that difficult COL, STL, @COL, @ LAD stretch. Sure doesn’t feel that way.
  7. I’m fairly confident once he went down 1-0 or 2-0 that was the unintentional, intentional walk Tbh I was sort of watching while doing something else but I could have sworn he was crossing up the catcher and not throwing it where he was setting up. Could be wrong though.
  8. All the sudden Pedro can’t command his pitches at all
  9. Is it a rule that Kyle Ryan has to pitch every single game?
  10. Everything is going great. Stretch Kimbrel out
  11. We knew this was going to be a rough week but I think a potential 1-4 start is under performing expectations
  12. Complete list of NL teams that currently have less road wins than the Cubs: -Miami Marlins
  13. This offseason is going to be horsefeathering bonkers isn't it? -KD and Klay both can be FAs, but both have injuries that will likely keep them out most or probably all of next year. How will the bidders be effected by this? Will KD opt in? -All those teams that think they are close will obviously see an opening with GS not having KD or Klay next year. Couple that with the short term Kawhi trade turning into a championship without a super team, I would expect to see a lot of teams making short sighted moves to try to win next year. The Rockets, Thunder, 76ers, Celtics, Nets, Nuggets, Blazers and Clippers are all teams I can see fall into this category. We might see some crazy player movement. -Speaking of player movement, beyond the GS guys, there is Kawhi likely leaving for an LA team, and the Sixers dealing with both Buckets and Tobias Harris being unrestricted FAs -All this while the AD trade is looming over the draft and beyond
  14. And then we went on the road
  15. Lester ERA over last 6 starts: 7.26. He has stretches like this throughout his career. Let’s hope this is another
