    The schedule is so annoying to start the season...only 1 of their first 6 games are noon starts, and that 1 game is the London game. They don't play a noon game in the US until week 8 (10/27).

    The Mets and Cubs are weirdly consistent in sweeping each other. This is the 8th sweep by either team in their last 13 series (since 2014) if you include the NLCS. 2 of those sweeps have been by the Mets and 6 by the Cubs

    Scored 10 runs off one of the best starters in baseball, won by 3 runs and yet I feel annoyed about the game. But maybe I’m just a miserable person.

    I’ve seen some sudden implosions in my time but I have to say that’s one of the better ones. Pen has to get 13 outs before giving up 5 runs. Anyone have any faith in them doing it?

    It would have to be another annual 6-7 WAR player at a similar stage of their arb years. You aren't trading him for a top 20 prospect that *might* be as good as KB one day. And if its for a comparable player, why make that deal unless Kris has made it clear that he's not going to resign? Maybe because that player is a better fit for the team positionally than KB? I guess that is the only way a trade of Bryant makes sense. Lindor fits all of that, came up in the same season, has actually accumulated more WAR in his career, plays a different position and might have a compelling reason to resign (his friendship with Javy I guess). Side note, can anyone tell me the reason for the sizable difference in KB's fWAR and bWAR? Fangraphs has him at 4.2 which puts him on pace to have (for him) a decent season though still a slight drop from his first 3 seasons, but BR has him at 3.1 which puts him in range to be about 60% of his annual WAR in those first 3 seasons.

    Really doesn't make any sense to me. Even in his later arb years he's still a bargain, why would you trade a surplus value superstar in the middle of a contention window?
