  1. 2 options that jump out at me here are Carr and... Minshew lol
  2. That was amazing to see. But also reinforces that the Bears are not a QB away from contending. Consistent pass rush is how you shut someone like Mahomes down in a big game. How many times have we seen guys like Rodgers tear us apart because we cant get anyone near him, and if we do he has enough time to find a 4th option open just in the nick of time?
  3. September 29 - Lightning win Stanley Cup October 17 - Rays win AL Pennant December 23 - Raptors play first NBA home game in Tampa February 7 - Buccaneers win the Super Bowl - hosted in Tampa Quite the 132 days
  4. Sorry this is driving me nuts, it’s Super Bowl not Superbowl
  5. I guess I don’t get why Cohen needs to go. I don’t love him but he’s really useful and isn’t paid all that much. Bears better tag or resign ARob otherwise this is doomed to failure if it isn’t already
  6. Beat me to it. First thought on "another offensive player" is Anthony Miller. But I did read someone say Ertz could be involved too. This could be quite the wild trade involving all players that each team has soured on. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk Why would we want Ertz?
  7. second tweet has been deleted, what did it say? Ahh it said that Bears fans are not going to like the rumored return he’s hearing for Wentz or something
  8. 4 hours later: https://twitter.com/brobnfl/status/1358139956053557248?s=21 Have no idea how credible he is though
  9. Do you trust the Bears to develop a QB?
  10. I dont hate the move if it happens depending on what we give them in return but not really an option that has me all that excited. Maybe he bounces back and is awesome, but hard to ignore just how bad he was recently, regardless of the reason why. That said, a drafted QB would probably buy Pace 2-3 years. This move could get him canned this year if it doesnt work out. So I guess we've got that going for us?
  11. It's going to be hilarious when Alec Mills outduels Bauer in game 7 of the NLCS
  12. It's definitely going to be the bears
  13. What happened to being out a minimum 2 weeks because DeBrincat scored 2 goals tonight lol
  14. You’ll regret saying this when the pitch lab churns out 5 cy young candidates
  15. Its strange that they would be allowed to do this given all the games that already need to be made up. I mean yes it puts Michigan at a huge disadvantage having to play without any practice or organized team activities for 2 weeks, but I would guess the Big Ten would have told them to suck it up.
  16. Sorry this is low effort. There is definitely a funny thread title I’m missing out on
  17. More is more when it comes to shooting so I'd absolutely love to see that but I think most of our trade value is going to be with fringe contenders if you're dangling guys like Lauri, Thad, Temple, WCJ, etc. But won't it most likely come down to just a boatload of picks? Lauri and any other salary marchers and picks + pick swaps. Lavine Beal Williams (ideally keep him) Max FA slot (I assume they can get that) I don't know, I'm pretty NBA ignorant thess days. Is that a successful rebuild? Depends on how you define a successful rebuild. Would we be title contenders if we got Beal and Lonzo lets say? No, but it would be a pretty good team... I think depending on the role players that rounded out the team it could be in the mix in the East, depending on whether that Kyrie/Durant/Harden pairing can figure out how to co-exist together. The concern to me is that Lavine is only under contract through next year and Beal would be only guaranteed through next year too (he has a player option for 1 more year beyond that). So the team would have to come together quickly otherwise it will be difficult to build a team without 1st round picks and limited cap space.
  18. I haven’t watched a ton but his numbers look alright though inefficient scorer, why specifically does he suck?
  19. Dumb question maybe but what’s the reason for the owners wanting a shortened season? Guessing they think that if they delay the season a month it gives them better odds of having at least some fans in the stands all year?
  20. Not that I thought the Lions would trade Stafford to the Bears but he’s off the market. One of the better options is gone
  21. Yes I prefer we kept Darvish instead of gutting the rotation down to just Hendricks but I am a little excited about the idea of getting 7-8 guys and trying to find 4 we can revive. All this ink about the pitch lab, time to put its stamp on baseball
  22. Can’t beat em join em?
  23. He seems like a QB that can be good with the right system but could also be a complete bust. Not sure Nagy is the guy that can design a system to take advantage of his strengths. Tua wouldn’t be my first choice for QBs but I would prefer him over like resigning Mitch because of that high ceiling potential
