    I just watched highlights of Jalen Carter today and I've concluded that the Bears are not a serious franchise. OK fine, I was concerned about the character stuff too and it might still blow up in their faces but geez, what he did today against NE is exactly what the Bears needed today on defense. 7 pressures I believe. I have no idea how to look up that stat (pressures) but I guarantee you the Bears as a team didnt have 7

    If I’m a highly prized QB and the Bears are in the position to take me I’d tell my agent to send out signals that I won’t play for Chicago. Irrational or not it’s a QB graveyard. Doesn’t matter the FO or coaching staff you’ll be a bust if you end up in Chicago. Actually if im a highly prized QB and the Bears are zeroing in on me, I might start to doubt my own worth as a QB.

    Same with Michigan. Two cupcakes, 2 failed covers. I don't mind though, I thought they looked fine in each game. Slightly concerned about the depth as the 2nd team offense has been terrible, and they haven't been running as well, but everything else looks solid.

    Pretty bad when all 3 of your running backs each have more targets than your number 1 receiver that you essentially traded a 1st round pick for in the offseason.

    Every single Fields pass besides the Mooney TD was some kind of dump off or checkdown

    Fields still in the game, the WR screen still doesn’t work

    I don’t want to completely throw in the towel after 1 game but that is definitely a good possibility.

    Even now Fields is hanging onto the ball for a long time only to throw inaccurate checkdown passes. I really want to see the game tape on this to see what is open on these plays. It’s not all on him by any means but there’s really not much at all that I’ve liked from Fields this half. Hopefully he finds a way to improve from here and his line gives him time to throw.

    Fields a delayed draw down 17 points in the 4th. then he hangs onto the ball too long and throws one so high his receiver can’t hang on to the ball

    And now fields waits way too long to throw and instead scrambled and fumbles it away. cannot think of a worse way for this game to go

    I don’t get why they would trade away a potential franchise QB, make sure that the trade netted us a veteran number 1 receiver only to play call like you don’t trust your QB. Let him loose and see if he fails or succeeds.
