  1. Damn, at least he got some good hacks in there and now he gets a Major League Baseball Reference page
  2. Jeff Garlin had tough shoes to fill after Z last night and the pressure clearly got to him lol
  3. Exit velos that inning: 69.3, 93.7, 94.7, 101.3, 103.2. Just kept rising
  4. This is starting to feel like that Wesneski inning in Pittsburgh where Ross kept leaving him in and the other team got back into the game.
  5. Hottovy during that mound visit: Jordan, Ross might actually put Canario in if you keep it scoreless, no pressure
  6. Letting Wicks pitch the 7th, love it. Maybe Palencia and Keegan finish off the game?
  7. Every fly ball towards Haniger is an adventure lol
  8. Sorry I meant what was the pitch count limit they had been trying to keep him at?
  9. On the plus side Wicks might be able to get through 6 if the Cubs want to stretch him a bit. What is his pitch count limit, 75?
  10. Definitely doesn't look as sharp as the last 2 games, given up some solid contact but it hasnt hurt him thus far. Thankfully the Cubs have a 6 run lead to take some of the pressure off of him.
  11. Great to see Amaya get one after struggling for awhile.
  12. Goal should be of course to have a 5 game lead or something going into that final Milwaukee series, but if we can at least be within 1 game, the winner of that series will take the division
  13. FWIW, Rivas misread a catchable foul ball one pitch earlier and couldn't come up with it which could have ended the game.
  14. Bednar strikes out Contreras looking on a pitch way outside but the ump called it lol
  15. Brewers leadoff man got on. 2nd guy drilled one that the RF had to make a leaping play to thankfuly catch. Let's see Yellich get another GIDP in a big 9th inning situation.
  16. Most RBIs in the 2nd half of the season: 1. Bellinger - 56 2. J. Rodriguez - 44 (!!)
  17. To the 9th in Pittsburgh...Yelich due up 3rd
  18. Certainly makes the work day a bit nicer.
  19. 1 run allowed in 13 innings after giving up the leadoff HR in his debut.
