  1. I've already heard people suggesting he'll go to Michigan next year after Harbaugh leaves for the NFL lol. Every fanbase is going to expect Coach Prime.
  2. What were you doing during your childhood, going outside and stuff? Rookie of the Year is amazing, especially for Cubs fans. Really like how it captures early 90's Wrigley too. Little Big League is good too but a little less popular in terms of 90s sports movies, but features cameos from Griffey and Randy Johnson. You should watch both, they're fun.
  3. In other Dansby news, he apparently bought Theo's Lakeview mansion for $3.5 mil
  4. Braves and Phillies tied at 8 going into the 10th. Phillies scored 2 runs with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th to tie it up on a Bryce Harper HR. Damn
  5. I'm sad the son of Reggie Theus hasn't panned out, but thrilled that the son of the mom in Little Big League has made it!
  6. Yeah I'm watching that one right now, its a pretty good breakdown and the blame seems to be a little bit of everyone Here's the video:
  7. Yeah thats the problem with screen shots. Someone may look open in a moment in time, but if you watch the video the window isn't there. I just think its funny when people post pictures thinking they show indisputable proof that Fields missed a wide open guy.
  8. Now 5-2 Braves. Go Braves, make sure you clinch eveything you can clinch before our series in 2 weeks 🙂
  9. I saw the Colts try this yesterday (their new HC was the Eagles OC last year) and failed miserably. But it does work much more often than it doesnt.
  10. We are officially at the point of Bears Monday where people on twitter are posting screen shots of open receivers that Fields should have thrown to.
  11. So far so good with the Braves taking a 1-0 in the 1st inning of Game 1
  12. Blocking grades for the Bears offense.
  13. Sure, but if they are really sitting there watching All 22 tape and focusing on every single player on every play, I'd trust their judgment more than someone who just watched the broadcast of the game. No one should take PFF as gospel at all, there are many flaws in trying to assign a statistical grade using judgment evaluations, but it's not completely worthless either.
  14. Agree, I didnt understand the complaints about Ross sticking with his guys. He spent half the season trying to find a way for Mastrobuoni to succeed (though has pretty much never used him since he's been back) and like you pointed out has given plenty of young guys opportunities to succeed. Wisdom was a starter in April and now has barely played over the last month. He benched Seiya for a week when he was struggling hard, he benched Morel after struggling hard and is now working him back into the lineup. Yes the offense has been slumping but other than Canario there isnt really a ton of enticing options on the bench who should be playing over these guys. Canario situation is odd but they were clear from day 1 that he's not going to play much, so not really a matter of Ross being stubborn and sticking with his guys. I'll complain about Ross with the best of them, but don't really see the issue here.
  15. Maybe coming out of that slump too? 11 for his last 31 (see I can use my arbitrary end point stat powers for good too)
  16. I'll admit we are doing some overreacting but its different when a team like the 49ers lays an egg, and a team with the worst record in football last year plays horrendous
  17. And some defensive grades: Zacch Pickens - 75.6 Jack Sanborn - 58.6 Yannick Ngakoue - 58.5 Gervon Dexter - 56.9 Dominique Robinson - 55.2 Tremaine Edmunds - 51.2 DeMarcus Walker - 50.6 TJ Edwards - 49.3 Justin Jones - 45.9 Rasheem Green - 37.7 Just an atrocious game all around based on PFF grades (and everyone's eyes)
  18. Some PFF grades for the Bears are leaking out Darnell Wright - 72.1 (highest of any Bear on offense, grades out to basically average) Roschon Johnson - 71.5 D'Onta Foreman - 68.5 Khalil Herbert - 65.5 Darnell Mooney - 63.8 Justin Fields - 60.9 (82.0 rushing, 49.4 passing) Nate Davis - 48.6 (26.8 pass blocking grade) Cody Whitehair - 47.2 Chase Claypool - 43.2 Lucas Patrick - 43.2 Also Braxton Jones had a 89.9 pass blocking grade. Must have done really poorly in run blocking, plus im not sure how penalties are factored in
  19. I thought he missed several easy throws, hit a couple of good ones, sounds very similar to a typical Fields game. The question is how he looks when hes facing an opponent that doesn't have the lowest pass rush win rate in 2 seasons, though the Packers oline is good so he'll have more games where hes protected well. Most QBs can hit throws when they are comfortable in the pocket....I just didn't see anything particularly impressive from him. But no means was he bad but he looks more in the line of average to slightly above average more than anything special. But its just one game and I'm a Bears fan so I don't know what good QBing looks like
  20. The stat I posted was the Bears defensive pass rush win rate I believe
  21. I think its real, PFF posts their top graded players for offense and defense for free, the 5th highest graded PAckers offensive player was around 66 and Love wasn't on their top 5 Here's more fun:
  22. Yeah interesting series with Wicks and Assad both getting their first taste of Coors and Taillon going in the other game. Others that are smarter than I can comment on how their pitches will or won't be affected by the altitude.
  23. Of course you would love that lol I'm old enough to remember him as Bears radio PBP, he was ok but he was absolutely atrocious as the Bulls PBP guy imo
  24. Agreed. Packers fans dont want to hear it but he has accuracy issues. If he was being pressured at a normal rate I think he would have had a poor game. He made the passes he needed to though...that one lob pass TD in the corner of the end zone was nice, but similar to Fields he can have nice throws but also miss on simple ones.
  25. More fun stats: The Bears pass rush win rate was 10%, the lowest mark for any team since 2021
