Also (I know I'm posting way too much) Tonights lineup contains Wisdom for Candelario..looks like that back injury is going to cause him to miss a few games, but probably a good thing for him to take a breather for a few days.

Hmm...lets say Wicks hits his PC limit after 5. Cubs nursing a 1 run lead. How do you fill out the last 4 (understanding that matchups might change this) 6th - Palencia or Boxberger 7th - Cuas (this is what Ross would do) 8th - Fulmer 9th - Leiter?

Oh horsefeathers I forgot about 15 days for pitchers. So looks like a minimum stint would have him back for series vs. the Braves and Brewers. No more Adbert fist pumps at Wrigley unless its in the playoffs

Maybe, maybe not. Fulmer was just on the IL with a forearm strain and is back on day 16. 16 days for Adbert would have him back the final monday of the season. But who knows

So today will be tough. Wicks can go 5-6 max, Merryweather is definitely out tonight, Alzolay is on the IL. Fulmer and Leiter are available but who knows what we'll get from Fulmer coming off the IL. Also, still looks like we might have Stro available in the pen on Friday so that's another option to get us through the weekend.

There was a report a couple of hours ago that he was traveling to Denver and trying to get there in time to be active for tonights game but nothing guaranteed.

Braves win after scoring 2 in the 10th. Cubs are 1.5 games behind Philly. Philly is 4 games clear of a playoff spot.

I've already heard people suggesting he'll go to Michigan next year after Harbaugh leaves for the NFL lol. Every fanbase is going to expect Coach Prime. -
What were you doing during your childhood, going outside and stuff? Rookie of the Year is amazing, especially for Cubs fans. Really like how it captures early 90's Wrigley too. Little Big League is good too but a little less popular in terms of 90s sports movies, but features cameos from Griffey and Randy Johnson. You should watch both, they're fun.
