    Wow. They're pretty high on the Cubs still considering this start. 26% chance at the playoffs...I know it's not great, but still. Probably has to do with the fact that they still have scored more runs then they've allowed

    If I recall correctly, it was a May (June) series against the Braves at Wrigley where I really realized that they weren't going to snap out of the tailspin. The game where 2 runs scored on a sac fly, and the game where the ball went off Ramirez's head were the two plays that stood out in my head. This season is just a more expensive remake of last season...

    There is no way they would trade Ramirez seeing as he is becoming one of the best SSs in baseball and he is still really cheap. Considering they are fielding a relatively competitive team with a really cheap payroll, I wouldn't see a reason why they'd want to sell off their players and threaten to kill the fanbase.
