Salary aside, Jeter and its not even close With Salary considered, if I'm a big market team Jeter. If I'm a small or medium market team Theriot. But only because Theriot is expendable and you can probably find Jeter's production (in 2008) for a much better price and dump off Theriot.

Can you verify this? I had BBTN on ITB (in the background) but I didn't hear anything about Harden. LLANSBBS! (Looks like another NSBB scoop) I saw something about it. Didn't see the actual segment, but I saw the pre-commercial promo for it where Ravich said something like "Are the Cubs close to getting Harden?" But like what always happens, a bunch of media outlets report a story using the same source (in this case the Sun-Times) and people assume that "everyone" is reporting it. The Cubs system seems to produce a lot of one year wonders Brian Dopirak, Richard Lewis, Donaldson, Thomas, etc. But maybe all systems have those sorts of players, I dunno.

Was this in response to me? Because mine was in response to SSR pointing out that since their hot start the Cardinals are just one game over .500. I simply found the Cubs record during that same time.
