  1. How many pitches did Wilson throw that inning? Hopefully he's not good for another
  2. Yeah what happened Marmol, you used to own 5+ run lead situations. That was your role!
  3. There's only 1 out....? I think he will surely be INT walked after what happened yesterday if 1st is open.
  4. Looks like ARam won't get a shot this inning unless Lee reaches and Theriot doesn't score
  5. He leads the NL in saves if only because the Giants offense is so bad that any game they actually have a chance to win is usually a < 3 run game
  6. I blame Marmol. I blame lou for not taking marmol out. i don't blame theriot. He was desparate, and he saw that marmol was sucking. It was not a good decision, but I understand it. It was a terrible decision. He was on his back and a runner was on third base. If he botched that throw, the runner could score easily from third. I don't understand it at all. Yeah that was an awful decision. Even if he some how made a perfect throw, one that has maybe a 5% chance of being perfect, I'm not sure if he gets the out in time anyways. He's trying to save his team from Lou. I don't blame him for trying something desperate. It was desperation time. If he holds on to the ball Marmol gives it up anyway in all likelihood. That was probably our only chance to win the damn game. I don't crucify players for trying to win. I do crucify managers for putting the other team at an advantage they shouldn't have. No I applaud his desire to do something heroic, but it was a horrible decision to throw the ball on your back away from your body when its probably not going to get there in time anyways. Theriot can't assume that Marmol is going to blow the game with the next batter, he can only worry about the decision that makes the most sense and creates the highest probability of winning.
  7. Maybe Ascanio really is the next Marmol. He was just ahead of the game with the modern sucking version of Marmol.
  8. Good thing Marmol imploded in late June/early July instead of August or September when Hendry can't do as much about it.
  9. I'm going to laugh if Marmol comes out to start the 10th

  11. Nice! It's time for the 10th inning show! Oh wait that's the real 10th inning....
  12. This pitcher is a righty killer. Reed sucks against righties. I don't like this matchup at all
  13. Glad we have a 4 man bench for this game. Zambrano will eventually have to PH
  14. Now watch for a walkoff and Marmol get a win in a game where he gave up 5 ERs in 1 IP
  15. and Cotts for 1/3 of an inning. We still have Lieber, Marshall and maybe Wood? who knows.
  16. This is one of the worst played, pitched and managed 9th innings I've ever seen.
  17. Ugh. Come on 1 more. Then put Marmol on the DL
