  1. I dont think the Brewers will end up getting him unless they can sign him to an extension on the spot
  2. Sabathia threw more innings last year than Harden has the last 3 years combined. Agreed. But hes absolutely dominating right now, and theoretically the A's have absolutely no reason to trade him since they are currently contending
  3. So most of our pitchers and hitters sucked, yet we went 15-12 in the month? I like it
  4. I have no idea why they are saying that Sabathia can't be had because of our farm, but then suggest that Harden is an option. I believe due to Hardens numbers this year, and the fact that Oakland is contending this year, he is going to be even pricier than Sabathia. Personally, I don't think we get either of them and end up with Burnett, who I think is the one pitcher whose current ballclub wants to get rid of the most.
  5. Thanks....for some reason I found it on channel 371 as well.
  6. Does anyone know what channel CSN+ is on RCN? I just switched over from Comcast last week and I cannot for the life of me find it.
  7. The more I look at it, the more I think we are going to have a really tough time against Zito tonight. - Fukudome has looked horrible against lefties lately - Despite having 2 hits last night, Edmonds is simply not the same player against lefties - Cedeno is horrible against lefties - No Ramirez, no Soriano greatly reduces our power Overall, we do not have a good lineup to match up against lefties right now, and we seem to be facing a number of them in a row. However, Soto, Lee and Theriot really hit lefties well, so hopefully Lilly can pitch a good game and we can come out with a 3-0 or 4-1 or 5-2 game
  8. It really doesn't matter what the White Sox do. Thanks for telling me who I can or can't cheer for. I don't want the White Sox to pass us recordwise.
  9. 7-1 Cardinals. They've scored in every inning this game.
  10. Theriot > Cedeno Lee > Nevin Soto > Barrett DeRosa < Ramirez Edmonds > Pierre Murton < Murton (06) Cedeno > Perez OK, just making sure that we are still better than our 2006 lineup
  11. Indians score 1 in the first, White Sox counter with 3. With the rate things are going we might be 2nd in the divison and 2nd in the city soon! Why are all of our rivals doing awesome at the same time.
  12. 5-0 Cardinals
  13. 4-0 Cardinals..... we need to win tonight.
  14. I don't think we faced Lilly last year
  15. Looks like the Cardinals miss Santana this series too.
  16. Bases loaded 0 outs for the Cardinals. Maine is imploding.
  17. Pujols singles 1-0 Cardinals. Still no one out in the inning. F this team
  18. Harden Lincecum Sabathia Zambrano Burnett Harden will get hurt Lincecum will walk 2 in the first inning of his first start with the Cubs and get sent to Iowa Sabathia will challenge Jim Hendry to an eating contest and eat himself out of the rotation Zambrano will punch Kosuke in the face after a bad defensive play, and Kosuke will come after him ninja style and end up breaking his arm Burnett will leave the team after realizing its too much pressure to play in a market where its baseball for breakfast, lunch and dinner and demand a trade back to Florida. Cubs rotation on September 1st: Lilly Dempster Marshall Gallagher Marquis
  19. I think Kosuke will still finish ahead.
  20. You gotta believe Matt Cain will be available too. The Giants need a lot of help, so they will have to choose between trading him of Lincecum..and you gotta think Lincecum is staying.
  21. I'll be pretty upset if Edmonds hit 4th against a lefty. We obviously need him in the lineup at this point, but 6th or 7th would be better.
  22. Good news... Soto is starting to come out of hibernation. .368/.478/.579/1.057 over the last 6 games 23 PA, 19 AB, 7 H, 1 2B, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 4 BB, 5 K
  23. Yay! Everything is coming up gold for the Cubs today!
  24. I'm not worried about 3rd hand speculation one bit. He's fine.
