    Or just show how dumb it is to say that "anything but a sweep is a failure." Not saying anyone in particular... don't even know who said it. I love how people who are so stat driven and realists think that a fan on a computer have anything to do with an outcome of a baseball game. I agre fully. People talk about not jinxing something, when the fact is, theres always going to be someone out there "jinxing" an outcome, whether you can hear them or not. Woah, definitely not talking about jinxing or anything. What David said above is on the mark.

    If we lose this game, we would go to 1-5 on the first game of the month March 31 - L vs. Milwaukee April 2 - L vs. Milwaukee May 1 - L vs. Milwaukee June - W vs. Colorado July - L @ San Francisco August - L vs. Pittsburgh

    Dude, we are losing to the Pirates and people are bummed out about it. It's no big deal. They aren't that bad of a team. There are far worse in baseball and even those teams win 40% of their games. How do we know? They just traded off their 3 and 4 hitters along with their LH setup guy. Also, their number 5 hitter and starting SS are injured . We have no idea if they are good anymore.

    I don't feel confident about home games anymore after suffering through that Marlins series offensively and now this game. I need a jolt of confidence.

    Ugh....we thrived all last series on getting timely hits. Now we aren't getting a single one.

    Yet he's one out from a quality start. I can't say that I'm happy with mediocre pitching. I'm just not mad about it either. That's kind of what mediocre is. Exactly. Sure would be nice to not have a mediocre pitcher every 5 days, but when the other pitchers are dominating, I can't complain about 6 IP 3 ER. In fact the Pirates would have to have that performance once a week.

    It was a lot more fun watching Jason Michaels hitting HRs against the Cardinals than it is against the Cubs.

    Kinda sucks when you get the pitching performances that we've gotten our last 4 games and then have Marquis pitch anything but brilliant.
