  1. Positives: -Our starting MI combined for 10 bWAR and are locked up for the next 3(?) years -Seiya finally turned the corner and turned into a major offensive contributor and did it for a long enough period that there is some confidence that he's closer to that Seiya (though not quite at that level obviously) than the Seiya we saw the first 1.5 seasons -Steele, Assad, Wicks all crushed it this year. Maybe there isn't an ace in the group but they should all be valuable contributors to next year's team -They Cubs finally managed to extend a position player from the previous core and he wasn't half that bad. -Alzolay finally reached potential and turned into a really good closer. Maybe not top tier, but if his walk rate this year is legit he'll be a very reasonably priced closer again next year. -While we still don't know what we have in them guys like Morel, Madrigal and Mastrobuoni proved that they can be counted on for some degree of production -Amaya after injury riddled years was a nice surprise even if his hitting fell off the second half of the season. He has a shot to be catcher of the future after hopefully 1 more Yan season. Only gonna focus on positives right now maybe I'll come back and do negatives later
  2. Yep, and all 3 of those teams are the last 3 games on Michigan’s schedule: at Penn State, at Maryland, vs Ohio State. Until then I guess I can enjoy watching Michigan mash other teams.
  3. Texas keeps playing good teams. If they win they’re gonna leap Michigan for number 2 even if Michigan beats Minnesota by 100. And deservedly so I get it.
  4. If the Bears are smart they will start gameplanning now on how to tie the Panthers when they play in a few weeks
  5. I hate to say it, I was ok with the 4th and 1 call too. I don’t know about the playcall, I was half watching while getting ready to coach a tball game but thought the potential upside of getting the first far outweighed the risk.
  6. Apparently Kmet said that Fields threw it where he was supposed to be and that Fields should have thrown it where he was?
  7. Chicago sports are amazing
  8. I know he’ll get better but PCA looks like a pitcher at the plate
  9. Will laugh if we blow this.
  10. Who the horsefeathers is this playing QB?
  11. I’m sorry man, I hope all turns out ok
  12. Sooo close to hitting the 200 yard, 3 TD barrier. Just needs 12 more passing yards
  13. wonder if something happened or if he is just pouting.
  14. We booed the decision to punt from midfield
  15. Bears punt from midfield and Cousins throws a pick 6 to the Panthers. Great start
  16. Bagent now the number 2 QB
  17. So even if the Marlins win tomorrow and win the Mets game the Cubs needed to just go 11-11 after the Giants series to make the playoffs. Instead they’ve gone 7-14 so far. edit: and actually probably could have gone 9-13 if they do better than 1-6 against Arizona
  18. I agree but the marlins earned it down the stretch. Their schedule was impossible and they did well enough
  19. 3 outs from the official end. It’s been real. I predicted in early August that the marlins were going to be our hardest opponent for the wild card
