  1. THIRD AND LONGS KILLING US AGAIN
  2. HOW DO YOU DROP THAT ROACH
  3. This is really bad. Defense is tired.
  4. Boy Manning is having himself a great game.
  5. I haven't seen a WR that wide open since the Super Bowl. Unbelievable. Time to actually do something on offense otherwise the other games don't matter
  6. 10-3 Minnesota Bucs tied up Raiders at 7
  7. Dammit Giants 33 yard TD run nullified by a penalty.
  8. Giants with a huge return to Minnesota territory. Bears need to score again to make me feel more comfortable.
  9. Go you Raiders !! edit: Touchdown, Oakland !! Looks like we may have to rely on Oakland and Philly to come through. Because you know they both want to win. Giants are about to pack it soon. The Giants just threw a 4 yard out to the sidelines on a 3rd and 7. They are playing conservative 10-0 Vikings
  10. 7-0 Raiders. I don't want to goto Minnesota next week and I don't want to have to sweat out the Cowboys game at 3, but if it has to happen to play next week thats fine.
  11. Raiders about to score on Tampa Bay in a scoreless game
  12. UGH bad time for a run to be stuffed. Predictable play call. The Bears have to be the worst team at 3rd and 4th and 1 in football
  13. http://cutting-edge-streams.com/livestream.htm Watch the Bears and Vikings steaming with that link
  14. Apparently the roof is open at Reliant Stadium and it was raining just a little while ago. Reliant Stadium supposedly has a very poor drainage system, so there is a chance that the conditions on the field will be sloppy. That would obviously be a good thing for the Bears.
  15. Add Aaron Ross to the list of Giants not playing.
  16. Boss and Jacobs won't play today and Eli is expected to leave in the 3rd quarter according to Fox.
  17. I find the 3-9 in our last 12 home playoff games dating back to 1989 mark to be even more amazing
  18. Man I can't stop thinking about this game, I am pumped for it. I have already braced myself for the fact that the Bears odds of ending the day in a playoff spot aren't great, but just for this team to be alive for a playoff spot with the last week of the season, this is what sports is all about. It's just unbelievable to me that this Bears team that I had going 4-12 in August is a win away from a 10-6 season. I know the Bears probably aren't as good as their record, but I will not let that make me enjoy the season any less. What's everyone doing for the game?
  19. At this point its looking like Jacque Jones
  20. If true, that kinda sucks. It contradicts what more reputable writers have said this offseason (for one Bruce Miles), but it does explain why things are so quiet. I wonder if something has changed between the start of the winter meetings and now. I don't think the Cubs can win it with last year's roster - Wood.
  21. White Sox fans have to love the Cubization of the Blackhawks.
  22. I don't know if people have noticed but Milwaukee is on a little run and have slipped into the 8 seed...
  23. So all those that were waiting for Mike Brown's season ending injury, you got it. He was placed on IR today.
  24. He doesn't miss because he doesn't try long ones. He's not all that impressive. He's 8/11 from 40-49 this year, but so what, others are just as good or better from that distance. I think it hurts the Bears that the 35 yard line is not scoring territory for them. Whether or not his misses are blocks is meaningless. He does miss from inside 49 and never attempts anything longer, so that props up his percentage. His misses: 2008: Missed from 49 yards Blocked from 42 Blocked from 48 2007: Blocked from 52 Missed from 39 Missed from 40 Blocked from 48 Missed from 53 2006: Missed from 37 Missed from 49 Blocked from 45 Missed from 37 So of his 12 missed FGs in the last 3 seasons, 5 were blocked. Other than those 5 blocks, he is 88-95. I think that's a pretty good mark. I think we'll have to agree to disagree because of your point that the Bears aren't in scoring territory from 35, and its valid. I don't think he's worth the contract, but in terms of the amount of praise he receives, I think he is rated properly and deserves his props for being rock solid from inside 50 You can't take out the blocks though. The reason those kicks get blocked is because he hits them low trying to get distance, which helps to show he doesn't have the strongest leg. Oh I know, I said in a previous post that those are partially his fault too. I'm saying in terms of accuracy, he's a damn reliable kicker.
