  1. Not sure what you mean. He wasn't touched so theres no way the play was over regardless of a whistle. whistle ends the play even if there is a fumble. You must remember times where there was a fumble that couldn't be reviewed because the play was already dead (blew the whistle thinking it was an incomplete pass or something) And why did it take them two minutes to get to the point of announcing the challenge? But the ruling on the field was fumble, so I don't think a whistle matters at all when they are already challenging the ruling.

  3. This is horrible. I can't imagine this game to have started out worse.
  4. Man, I remember the last time the announcers spent the entire game fellating the opposing young QB against the Bears.
  5. The Falcons look like a legitimate top playoff seed in the NFC
  6. What the hell is he doing?!?!
  7. At some point they'll start backing off the safeties and a linebacker or two to see if the rest of the D can still shut down the run. That time is now.
  8. ok 3rd and medium, I think we got them
  9. This is embarassing. Every single 3rd down in 3rd and long. We are dominating them the first 2 downs.
  10. Wow Matt Ryan is good. How many more weeks are teams going to gameplan to stop the running game, assuming they will be caught in 3rd and long situations and forced to make mistakes? You need to gameplan to stop this QB
  11. Wow this ref is weird. He talks funny and he referred to Turner as the QB
  12. Would have been nice to have it inside the 5. Brown is smart. Most DBs that go running with the football forget to tuck it and half the time get it stripped back out again.
  13. Gotta say it...the Falcons look good. I hope the Bears came prepared.
  14. This is going to be a fun season. Of the undefeateds, there is a strong chance that Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma State, and even Penn State lose. It might be a another year where a 1 loss team gets into the title game.
  15. So weird to see the Hawks on WGN
  16. I think if we resigned him, we would be getting a line of around .250/.340/.460 from him in part time play.
  17. Mike needs to prove he can hit adequately against lefties if he wants to become a full time player.
  18. No. Jim was a good in season move last year but its time to get someone in there that we can count on for more than one season.
  19. If we even won 1 playoff game, my impressions of the season would be different. Now all we are going to hear about next year, no matter how good or bad they are doing is, yeah fine but will they win a playoff game. Then if we make the playoffs, we are going to hear nonstop about how they can't win a playoff game. If you thought the fans were bad this year for the games at Wrigley, wait until next year if we make the playoffs.
  20. There has also been I think 20 other teams to win a playoff game since the Cubs last.
  21. Not a great first game for Huet
  22. Same old Hawks. I am giving up my quest to watch more hockey. (j/k)
  23. That's the problem. You are categorizing him as a 6'1'' guard to justify his statistical rank. Being 6'1'' limits him from being a dominant guard. If he was 6'6'' he'd have multiple All Star appearances right now. Even 6'4'' he'd be a borderline star. As it is, he is a role player who can score points well and do almost everything else average to below average.
