    That was the worst in a series of horrible drives for the Bears defense. Honestly, I couldn't think of a more horrible way to lose a game (that isn't lost in the final seconds) I feel like Ryan is just flinging the ball up there have the time and their receiver always comes down with it.

    That's gotta be game if they get a TD. Their possessions are like 10 minute back breaking drivves, even if we come back and get a TD they will run the clock down

    GET A STOP ON THIRD AND FREAKING LONG I wasn't kidding when I said, I feel more comfortable on 3rd and 2 than 3rd and 10 Any way to find out how many yards gained on 1st and 2nd down vs. 3rd down? I'd imagine it would be like 45 yards on first and second down and 250 yards on third down.

    Berrian just caught a 86 yard TD pass. I miss that.

    The Bears have definitely been moving the ball on offense when they've had the opportunity

    For the first time in 6 quarters, the Bears are trying to use the run to move the offense.

    I know the Falcons have good special teams, but without the HR ability that Hester used to possess, he's quite a poor return man in terms of average return yards. We might be better off using another kick returner against this squad

    Hard to stop a good offensive team with that many key personnel missing.

    It's going to be really interesting to see what sort of adjustments the Bears make to start the second half. They cannot allow the Falcons to go on long drives that wear down the D in the second half. The TOP in the first half was 21-9 in favor of the Falcons. That's about as wide a gap as you can get in the NFL. It's amazing they are within a score of leading the game.

    No kidding. I could have told you coming in that should have been the Bears game plan for a rookie QB. We like to bag on Turner, but Babich has not been impressing either. Really? I love to bag on Babich

    Here is how that ref would describe a false start penalty to the crowd "The offensive lineman, number 69, moved too early, well before the ball was snapped from the Center to the QB. This is especially bad because it can draw the defense offsides. Therefore, this play has been called dead, and the offense will be penalized with a loss of 5 yards from the previous line of scrimmage. It is still first down, which means that there will be up to 4 more opportunities for the offense to reach the 15 yards required to make a first down. The clock will remain the game and both teams will maintain the same number of timeouts as before this penalty."

    Seriously, if you can't pronounce the name of a kicker whose been with the team for 4 years and has kicked several game winning FGs, including a playoff winning FG, you need to just quit. He just called him "Goold again"

    Why? Poor game planning? Poor gameplans, not really sold on the defense due to the 2 big breakdowns earlier in the year -- they've sucked in pass defense all year from what I've been seeing. Seeing that big time today. The offense was nice to see, but you can't just take 4 or 5 games and say "the offense is good now." I just didn't see how it added up to "good team." I needed to see more. Not seeing it today. No I agree with you, especially on the offensive end. The D has never sold me either. It takes more than 2 good games to erase the memory of the TB game.

    Ryan has certainly found the pocket between the CB and S. How many passes have we seen the WR catch it right between those 2?
