Pitching-is-not-the-problem. Does-not-matter-who-started-or-who-did-not. Lineup-sucks-mighty-ass. Oh come on. I think 2 runs in 14 innings should be enough.

25-21 in our last 46 home games if we lose this.

Does anyone else think that this series could have gone differently had we used the old 2-3 format, where the first 2 games would have been at Dodger Stadium, and the last 3 at Wrigley? I think in a 5 game series, having the first 2 on the road could only help this years Cubs.

So, what kind of organization does this for 100 years? the organization put together a team that won 97 games. this, well, this is not the organization's fault. they've made the playoffs 4 times in the last 10 years, at some point, you have to start wondering. what has to happen to convince people? So what, a curse? what else? do the cubs have to be up by 10 runs in the 4th 5th 6th 7th games of the nlcs only to lose each time to convince you that they're never getting to the world series? Pressure. Some flukey effect that comes from playing day games or in Wrigley Field (which is an unusual park). An organizational tendency to hire a certain type of player whose style does not work in the postseason. I don't know. But the odds of it happening by chance are staggering. These aren't one-run losses, these are Pythagorean humilations. WE NEED A PROVEN POSTSEASON STAR. MR HENDRY GET CRAIG COUNSELS AGENT ON THE PHONE!

the bad thing is, center field is really the only position Hendry will try to upgrade. you know they're going to giving the stupid asian another chance since they signed him to a ridiculous contract. Honestly, at the time, everyone loved it. Don't forget that. People who pay attention to Japanese hitters didn't yeah, okay... What did 1908 say about Fuk?

So how do you guys think our offseason will go. Here are areas we can stand to improve: 1B SS CF RF Bullpen (7th inning guy) I'd love to get a complete dominant hitter. Doesn't matter the position.

I'm a huge pessimist and I'm not giving up on the series if we lose tonight. I will start accepting reality, but I have seen enough teams come back from down 0-2 to not completely lose hope.

Are you sure? What's bigbird saying? Lou will go to any lengths to avoid using his best pitcher in the playoffs. That way, he doesn't have to face a difficult decision about when to take them out and save them for later. Sorry, I edited because I came up with a better response. My first response was "sucks that he had to give up Harden in the trade though"
