  1. Too much time left to only run the ball.
  2. Well..... I was half right, no? Not yet! I bet at least 10 more points are scored in this game
  3. This is the same "Prevent" Cover 2 defense that blew the TB game. And blew other games for us in the past. Thankfully they finally called a blitz near the goal line.
  4. yeah.... but did they win ???? Yup. Also December 7, 1980 was the last time they scored MORE than 48 in a game, as Fred remembers well, the beat the Packers 61-7 on that day. Remind me later.... I gotta great story about that game. Oh my. Can't wait to hear this :)

  6. December 7, 1986 is the last time the Bears scored 48 or more points in a game. They had 48 that game too.
  7. When is the last time the Bears scored 48 points in a game? I think the most we scored in 2006 was 47 against St. Louis.
  8. EVERYTHING IS FORGIVEN!!!
  9. He is usually decent at that. He lets the ball dangle way too much when he's under pressure.
  10. Hey, that's better than the Bears chance of recording a sac today.
  11. This guy is going to be in our division for a long time. How's about we learn how to stop him?
  12. I've never enjoyed a game the Bears were winning almost the entire time less than this one. Maybe that Giants game last year.
  13. We're in trouble. The O-line seems to be wearing down.
  14. But my Bears D is getting credit for a fumble recovery TD. For the third one today. :good: That should change. I don't know how yours is scored, but I've had stuff like that happen to me in the past and it was later rescinded.
  15. Wow that looked like last year. Why was Urlacher just sitting there on the XPT?
  16. I saw that coming. TEs + Open Field + getting caught from behind = bad things happen.
  17. Desmond Clark makes fantasy owners everywhere pissed off by stealing a passing TD from Orton.
  18. Thank God.
  19. The ground might have caused it....its not obvious though.
  20. If Briggs and Dusty are out, we'll be in big trouble. That would be what 5 defensive starters out?
  21. How many TD passes should Orton have had if Booker didn't suck? The passing game is wide open. To paraphrase Donald Rumsfled: You play the game with the receivers you have not the receivers you want. The passing game WOULD be wide open if we had competent receivers. Bad receivers don't drop most balls that come their way. They drop a few and don't get open. They have been getting open. And if the Bears were to drop two more TDs in the 2nd half, it wouldn't be bad. It would be historically bad. To be honest, the lack of a run game is hurting them too. Booker dropped some passes, but its pretty clear the receivers aren't as open as they were on the first two drives because the Vikings have an extra DB out there.
  22. That's the story of my October pretty much From the Cubs in the playoffs, to the Bears last week and this week, to the Blackhawks last night, to Michigan yesterday vs. Penn State.
  23. Again, it took 2 quarters for the Vikings to double the number of points they scored all game vs. Detroit last week.
  24. Imagine if we didn't get lucky on special teams scores. We'd be losing 24-10
  25. FIRE BABACH
