    If you had to categorize the Cubs season in 15 minute increments, this latest 15 has gotta be amongst the top 10 worst.

    I feel like the Cubs starters came into this series having no clue that their pitches were going to be affected pitching in this park. They are throwing their breaking pitches late in the count trying to get strikeouts and look stunned when they are ripped down the line for hits. Second game this series we are in a 3 run hole after 1

    I either hate this zone, or I hate this camera angle, because 3/4 pitches in that leadoff walk looked borderline.

    I like how we all get pissed when someone swings at the first pitch and makes an out, but if they get a hit we congratulate them for jumping all over the first pitch. Never seen anyone applaud first pitch swinging. Really? I have. Swinging at the first pitch by itself is not a bad thing, but if its a trend that's not working, it can be really bad. There are different scenarios depending on scouting reports, placement in the order, how the pitcher fared against the previous hitter, etc.

    Ground rule doubles suck. I wish there was a way to change the rule to make it fair. Like umpires discretion or something but that would never happen.
