    I think the Bears are the only fanbase in the country that openly fears 3rd and longs. I'd rather see 3rd and 4 over this.

    Not going to happen Bears blitz will be ineffective and were looking at a 15+ yard completion. You nailed that haha.

    I miss seeing Urlacher showing blitz on those big third downs and then having the skill to drop back on the pass. It's not the same with Hillenmeyer, although he just showed some fire after he couldn't get the Bears D on the same page causing the team to waste a TO.

    The Bears have done a decent job adjusting to the short passes.

    The one that threw 4 INTs last week because the O-Line couldn't stop the pass rush. The Steelers are rushing Cutler a lot today so I'm glad he's dumping them off. In fact I don't know how many of his passes have gone to the play's intended targets so far.

    Wow I feel like I'm still watching the Packers offense with these drops.

    That's not the secondarys fault, they were running a zone blitz. The D-Line needs to get pressure there otherwise there will always be receivers exposed.

    Or we're injury depleted and they are the defending SB champs. Why can't we get ANY ANY ANY pass rush on 3rd and long?

    ~117 yards of total offense for the Steelers in the first quarter vs. 11 for the Bears.

    Interesting change of game plan from last game. Instead of all the passes going to the wideouts 10-15 yards down the field, now they are going over the middle or to the sidelines. Either way it doesn't matter with the Steelers defense and our offense.

    If we thought our good defense looked bad when it was tired, imagine how our bad defense will look gassed.

    They sold out on the run Manning was trailing him the entire time. The fat TE just outran him because he's a pathetic defender. He also had to eye the QB once he rolled out in case he scrambled. But once it was clear that the TE was the only one going out for a pass in that area he should have been all over him.

    They are throwing a lot of balls to the flats and getting YAC's moving the ball down the field quickly. (Steelers that is...bears went 3 and out)
