  1. I've been trying not to read this thread too much...mostly because I just don't care. I don't care what the Cubs do this offseason, just start next year and lets be mediocre again, whatever. But the way this Bradley situation is eating up the entire offseason is downright hilarious. Hendry doesn't want to pay 85% of Milton's salary so he's gonna waste the whole offseason trying to find someone dumb enough to take him for less. Otherwise he has no money to spend except from the super secret middle relievers fund. Sorry Jim, when you suspend someone for the last 2 weeks of the season after a season of outbursts and disapointing play, and then make it well known that you can't begin the rest of your offseason until you unload this player, you are not going to have a lot of options.
  2. LOL KC Johnson posted this on the Trib website after the 3rd quarter: Sounds like a promising team. In the past week one of our players got into a verbal altercation with the other team because they were dancing to celebrate their blowout, let a player TIE THEIR SHOES during the game (the fact that he even tried to tie his shoes says a lot), and have now bored another team so badly that they are showboating their way through the game. I'm trying to decide if the Bulls are worse than the Bears, and I think they are.
  3. Can someone with ESPN insider post all or if not allowed snippets of Hollinger's article about how bad the Bulls have become? It's on the front page of ESPN.com
  4. LOL...I was playing Madden. When I turned to Madden it was 41-31 Hawks. When I turned back it was 83-53. What a disaster of a team. I don't care who you are, or how many injuries you have, a team that gets blown out almost every night is not going to retain it's coach for very long.
  5. More like 2010 - Oh crap we have no $#$%# money, I can't believe no one wants to give me something of value for Milton Bradley AND I still have to eat his whole contract.
  6. Good luck Harden, thanks for not signing with the Cardinals or Brewers.
  7. Cubs projected win total in 2010 just went up by 2. hawkins has been pretty badass over the past 85 or so innings. He seems to have a lot of trouble holding leads against the Cubs ever since he left.
  8. Cubs projected win total in 2010 just went up by 2.
  9. it's pretty funny that you assume you were right about these guys already i always knew that ian kennedy guy was a buster. i mean, what 23 year old gets lit up in the al east? only a buster I know...you guys remember that Roy Halladay loser? He had a 10.64 ERA in 19 games for the Jays when he was 23 years old. I think that guy is a construction worker now. From first round pick and highly touted prospect to complete bust. Maybe if he carried himself better.
  10. Him and Derrek Lee should join a support group.
  11. 1-8 in the last 9 games. And a game in Atlanta tomorrow night.
  12. Didn't I hear on the radio this week that he put his house on the market? Yep. I don't think it's related at all though.
  13. Vinny is gonna get canned if we lose this one. Maybe not today because there's a game tomorrow, but I think a loss here would be a dagger
  14. I got a close Green Bay win. Stupid loser Packers. Packers 20 Bears 13
  15. Should I email a news source and tell them I want to pitch for the Cubs too? I totally live right around the block so it would be convenient for me, probably more so than Looper.
  16. Have fan with those yokels Penny. Oh yeah and the few cool Cards fans on this board too.
  17. No he just said it was a bad play and bad call and that it didn't work. It was an idiotic play to be honest. It was 8 special teams guys, holder, kicker and Olsen. How are they not going to have an eye on Olsen just in case? Amazingly, it wasn't the worst fake kick for the Bears this year....
  18. He got burned a few times but he had tough matchup. On the Bears Post Game show on CSN they were saying he was pretty decent out there besides the couple of times he got burned badly.
  19. I just noticed that. I swear they were just waiting for me to leave town again. Crock. :banghead: Bulls too. They played Toronto last night, who had played 4 more games than Chicago heading into the game If your counting games that they didn't show up, it's more like 8 more games than the Bulls.
  20. The Hawks have too many off days. They've played one of the fewest games in the NHL and they randomly have 3 off days in a row right now. I feel like I can't get in a rhythm watching Hawks games because they've been so infrequent.
  21. I've seen that happen at least twice this year in college where they called it a fumble after a review even though they really shouldn't be able to do that. The replay system is a great idea, but it is very flawed. Still better than no replay though.
  22. Cutler was 4-10 for 12 yards after the 1st quarter today.
  23. INT!
  24. Wow Skins close to FG range
