    Or: Because of the ability to have the other boards and people being able to look things up on their phones, a new scoreboard is unnecessary. Wrigley is gonna have to update their cell phone coverage if that is going to be what we rely on. I can't even send a text at the game, let alone look up stats. Wrigley isn't your service provider. Really? They have cell phone towers attached to the stadium or so I've read. They claimed pigeons were getting in the way of AT&T's last year and this year should have been improved, but I haven't noticed any difference. If the Cubs will point to technology as a reason to not get a modern scoreboard, they should be able to ensure the fans can use their cell phones in the ballpark.

    I think Grabow was sent to us from Selig to teach the other GMs how dumb it is to overpay for mediocre middle relievers.

    Me too...it was brilliant though. I think in his postgame quotes he said he saw Boucher come out of the net and he knew his best chance was to slip it behind him.

    Are we still holding out hopes that he is disgruntled and leaves for another team in a year or two? Or did the Holliday signing end that?

    If the wind was blowing out hard, that might have hit the building a couple of floors up.

    I feel like Philly needs to clog the neutral zone and force the Hawks to dump the puck in to have any chance of slowing the Hawks offense down. It would limit the odd man chances and fast breaks. It's still dangerous because once the Hawks do gain control in the Flyers zone they are extremely dangerous with their ability to cycle the puck and their shooters, but nothing is going to completely stop the Hawks offense.

    Based on how little PT Eager got after his penalty early on, you'd have to think he'd be the odd man out, even in a series that's supposed to be as physical as this.

    Haha wow....a reported asked Kopetzky if he was injured the last few games (why he wasn't playing), and Kop responded with a really blunt "no comment" and then moved along to the next question. And seconds later he was smiling and laughing.

    Once again, 0 penalties on Philly tonight. Second straight first game of a series where the opponent didn't have a penalty called on them, and we won both games by a goal.

    I thought Kane played OK. He created a couple of decent chances, but couldn't get any in. But I think they were -3 for the game, so obviously that's not great.

    We dominated the 3rd period IMO. Great job to steal the momentum. Would still have been nice to win if the line in the 3rd was 4-3, but I think they gave the Flyers something to think about before game 2.
