Nope they vary. I think in tournament play, they can differ by 10 M wide and 20 M length. Or something like that.

Hawks traded out of the 1st round, and sent their 30th pick to the Islanders for the 35th and 59th pick. -

Lee seemed to just stand there and take Z's yelling. I especially appreciated Stone's comment about Lee not being like Barrett. That brought back some happy memories. The fun part about this whole debacle has yet to come. The same fans who've been whining and crying about Lou Piniella not showing any fire, not caring, and not screaming at anyone for their poor performances will be all over Zambrano for this. Imagine if it was Lou instead of Z, what would people be saying instead? Most idiot Cubs fans give Z a hard time because he's a hot headed latino, and while Lou gets a pass because they think he's 100% cracka. Damn all the racist Cubs fans. I hope you're not counting on much from the Bears Even when the Bears are mediocre or bad, they keep me entertained. When the Cubs are terrible, only little Z-splosions like today's are even remotely interesting.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be very hard to work out a sign and trade to make up the difference. For instance, Toronto wants a sign and trade for Bosh, it wouldn't be difficult to offer preferably James Johnson but if not Taj Gibson and a 1st round pick as their compensation for helping us sign Bosh at full max value. Prior to yesterday's trade, we'd have had to beg them or a 3rd team to take Deng or Hinrich, which wouldn't make any sense for Toronto. Also, between now and July 8th, we could probably find a taker for James Johnson. I still think we're short dollars wise in that scenario. Any first round pick we trade isn't going to help our cap number and Gibson/Johnson don't make enough. I don't think even Gibson AND Johnson make enough. Pretty sure I saw that if James Johnson is shipped out, we'll have enough for two max contracts. First round picks make around $3 million, I believe. Exactly. That's what I've been reading too. And the 1st rounder was just further incentive for Toronto to help us with the sign and trade and has no financial bearing in the proposal.

You guys have this situation all wrong. In 2007, we started out 9 games under .500, a position player and Z had a tiff in the dugout, and Lou came out and threw a temper tantrum. 4 months later we're celebrating a division title. history is repeating itself!

Man I didn't realize Italy going out puts Slovakia on our side of the bracket. So far of the 5 other teams in the bracket, the Netherlands is the only team I'd think the USA has no shot against. Too bad the other 2 teams likely to be on this side of the bracket are Brazil and potentially Spain.

First: WE don't know what the deal, but GarPax do (I know duh right), and I pretty sure the deal is as firm as it can be right now. If the Bulls did not want this deal would not have made this deal. Second: The Bulls have been shopping Hinrich around the league for nearly 2 year, so I you can guess that this deal is prolly the best deal they could get, and they took it. I really don't see a better deal coming around for Hinrich. Well at this point, this WAS the best deal the Bulls could get for Hinrich because their main intention in trading him was to rid themselves of his salary. And with this trade, they got rid of 100% of his salary. Great deal for the Bulls.

Max or near max FA I would live with: 1. LeBron James 2. Dwayne Wade 3. Chris Bosh 4. Carlos Boozer 5. Amare Stoudemire 6. David Lee 7. Joe Johnson 8. Rudy Gay Am I missing anyone. There will be some disapointments but theres also a 2nd tier of FAs too.
