    Wait, what? The call on Bennett was actually a generous spot. It was clearly a delay of game call. And Lovie didn't challenge when Cutler actually had broken the plane. This isn't ref collusion. Not even close. I agree, except that the refs called that Cutlers forward progress hadn't stopped when it had. And yes Lovie was stupid for not challenging but the refs missed Cutler breaking the plane too. Also, wouldn't have mattered but it would have been nice if the refs killed the play before it was intercepted and DJ Moore scored a TD.

    That's how you don't take advantage of good field position.

    2 kick returns in the last 4 weeks and another TD taken back by a penalty that didn't affect the return. Maybe he's back.

    Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, Bears made the Super Bowl a few years ago, Bulls won 6 titles in your lifetime, Illinois had the comeback against Arizona, etc etc etc. You're not a Boston fan, but you aren't a Cleveland fan either.

    I'm trying to remember wasn't there another game recently where a big play was negated by a delay of game penalty? I want to say it was either a MNF or SNF game late in the game.

    Very smart challenge by Lovie. Any other team i'd say unless it was blatently obvious don't challenge it. But I don't at all feel convinced the Bears can score from this position so its a good challenge. Edit: And it appears everyone else is thinking like I am too.

    Maynards punts today: 39 yards, 40 yards, 37 yards, 28 yards, 34 yards. Average of 35.6 yards. If that was his season average, he would be 32/32 for qualified punters in the league. As it is, his season average is only 38.8 which is 31st out of 32

    I'm sure they will listen to the 8 fans picketing and ignore the 65,000 that still choose to attend Bears games every week.

    That was hilarious. Williams got completely run over and shoved into Cutler quicker than he could drop back to pass. Does Williams get credited for a sack? This team is so unwatchable

    I kind of hope the Cubs win myself. That's a nice thought. As Kevin Garnett says "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!"

    I feel like everyone except for Hossa and Sharp have been disapointing this year. Just a slow start, a Stanley Cup hangover or what?

    Wow either the Giants (1954) or Rangers (never) are gonna win the world series. I hope the Giants win, and then the Indians do next year so there is 71 years between the next longest team (I think the Pirates of 79) and the Cubs.

    If they have plenty of arms in the pen why did they bring in a starter on 1 day rest to get outs for them. I just thought it was an odd move that's all. If you just need a few outs, even on short rest why not go to your best pitcher? If they clinch tonight he'll be fully rested to start Game 1. Because he just pitched on Thursday? I wasn't surprised when he didn't look particularly sharp. It's not a do or die game, and the Giants have a decent bullpen don't they? I just feel like it's an odd move in this situation.
