  1. Wow...did not take them very long to get into the Red Zone.....cmon d
  2. 43-58 from 40-49 yards in his career and 2-5 from 50, not great but not horrible.
  3. That was too good of a drive to come up empty. He's certainly allowed to miss kicks especially from nearly 50 yards, but everytime he does I'm reminded of his salary.
  4. [expletive] Robbie.
  5. Yeah there was nothing they could do. It was called dead and the Bears ended up recovering it anyways
  6. Damn, 2 years ago that is a spectacular TD instead of well out of bounds. Great catch by Hester and well thrown by Cutler so that only Hester could attempt a catch
  7. I'm really really liking Martz's play calls so far. That 3rd down pass that was killed by a false start looked like it was gonna be really good.
  8. Not if no one is open. Run out of the pocket and throw it away. He's one of the better scramblers in the league. If he doesn't scramble, I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt that either he was waiting for a specific route to open up or he didn't have room to scramble.
  9. That was an awesome play call on 3rd and 8 by Martz. He brought all 3 WRs to one side and then snapped it as the Packers were audibling. Very nice start.
  10. Not if no one is open.
  11. Typical Bears run to gain 0 yards. Nice pass!
  12. Who would you rather win tonight? I'm assuming you consider the Packers the more formidable foe and would rather the Bears win because its more likely that the Packers are a bigger threat to the Vikings for the division?
  13. Wow 3rd straight year that a message is sent to Tommie Harris. What a bum. On espn they said he's not injured, he's not suspended, they have just elected not to use him tonight. Obviously they are sending him a message because if they were just demoting him they would leave him active to backup his position.
  14. Funny thing is, I don't think it ended up having an impact on the game did it? I know they got a FG that temporarily put the Packers head by a point, but either way the Bears were up 15-13 when Rodgers had that 50 yard TD with a minute left, so it still would have been a Packer win. (yeah I know butterfly effect but whatever)
  15. who are you trying to convince, freakshow I don't know...is he a Packers fan?
  16. Hopefully tonight he won't try to take the game into his own hands by audibling to some weird direct snap to the up man because he thinks the Packers have too many men on the field. Pat Manelly was tired of being an afterthought in the NFL. Until one day, he decided to take matters into his own hands. That night he was no longer "Pat Mannelly, the long snapper"....he was "Pat Mannelly, the #$%( scrub that cost the Bears the $%&(#$# game!"
  17. I'm about one Bears-Packers game from trying to set up a "Bears fans only" game thread and if the Packers losers want to have their own thread have at it. Oh wait, we already have that. It's called this thread and the "Week 3 NFL" thread. And if the Packers fans have a problem with that, they can petition to move the Cubs to Wisconsin. (see I told you my civility would go away as game time approaches. I'm sorry but it's like the Cardinals...I've trained myself to dislike the rival so much that those that choose to follow that team just seem so dispicable to me and its beyond my comprehension why anyone would choose to follow that deplorable team. Luckily, A) I've learned to only view a person in that light when my team plays theirs, and B) I don't take myself or sports seriously enough to really truly feel that way about the person, beyond sports banter. But still....)
  18. This is like Bo dying on the eve of the biggest UM-OSU games in the rivalry. OK maybe not.
  19. What kind of dirty question is that? All guys do. For me, usually only when the girlfriend has a headache or is just not in the mood.
  20. Now he can join Luke McNown, Jeff Garcia, and (probably) JP Losman in the UFL!
  21. Did you know....If Carlos Zambrano can keep his ERA below 3.77 in his last 2 starts (he's at 3.56 right now), his ERA will have dropped in each of the last 3 seasons. 2007: 3.95 2008: 3.91 2009: 3.77 2010: 3.56
  22. I have this really bad feeling that Michigan might lose to Indiana this week. I hope I'm wrong.
  23. 11:41 a.m. monday where are you Can't you read? He's in N/A
  24. I can see both sides to the argument. If you kick the XP, its an 8 point game meaning that even if you somehow give up a TD, they still have to convert the 2 point conversion, which I think is like a 60% conversion rate. On the other hand if they go for 2 and get it, game over. If they don't get it, the worst that can happen is they tie it with a TD. I tend to side with the XP because I feel so much more secure when my team is up by 8 vs. when it's up by 7, given the odds that they drive down the field and score and then still have to convert a 2 pt conversion.
  25. Wow, I didnt realize that the winner of this game will be the last unbeaten in the NFC and one of either 3 or 4 unbeatens in the NFL (at time of writing Miami is down 4 in the 4th quarter)
