  1. Haha, if the game is still going on at 5, I would stop by and catch a couple of innings in those seats. All right, if you want to let me know. I'm at Fremont & Waveland -- would maybe go over with you depending. 630-247-0293 Just text me or something Will do!
  2. It's not that. It's just that he likes trolling the Bulls board, and its easy to find various homer comments to rip on. If there were dozens of posters filling up 300 pages about the Thunder in this forum, it would be easy for us to do the same.
  3. This one? http://d.yimg.com/i/ng/sp/ap_photo/20110419/all/l5157603.jpg

  5. Watching Bulls-Pacers last night at least make this debateable. Hockey happens at such an incredible rate of speed that I give them more of a benefit of a doubt. It's the league office that is absurdly incompetent. i've just seen a ghost. great to see you back!
  6. Lost in all the fuss of the Bulls struggles, the Bulls have now won 12 in a row, which is tied for the 2nd longest winning streak in the NBA this year. Boston won 14 in a row earlier in the year, so while it won't be official, 2 more wins would put us there.
  7. So...based on the hope that we close out these bozos on Saturday, we are looking at an extended break coming up. Game 5 - Tuesday Game 6 - Thursday Game 7 - Saturday I'm assuming if one of them closes the series in game 5 or 6, the first game of the second round will be on Sunday, and if it finishes in game 7, it would be Monday or Tuesday. that means by winning game 4, we would have at least an 8 day rest between games.
  8. Rose and Boozer combined for 6-28 shooting The rest of the team shot 22-44 That's a start. The rest of it of course is above average defense, Making over 9-20 from 3, and Rose getting to the line 15 times. PS I know it was a rhetorical question
  9. That is pretty funny, because I still think we're playing with house money. Even if they lose on Sunday, I'll be content. But I guess that's easy to say when we just won the Cup. Yeah I wouldnt say I would be happy, but content is a good word. I knew we had our work cut out for us when we backed into Vancouver, not only the best team in the regular season, but a team that desperately wants to beat us in a playoff series. So going into the series, although I was hoping for a series win, I would have been content with at least making it a competitive series where there is doubt in the Canucks minds at some point. Mission accomplished in a rather odd way. So
  10. I swear to God, Canucks fans are [expletive] hilarious. I'm reading Nucks Misconduct's game thread and these people are talking as if this series is over - with Chicago advancing. They are saying things like "I can't believe they did this again. 3 years in a row beaten by the Hawks." and "Maybe the Blackhawks are just a better team"
  11. BTW, Keith welcome to the 2010-2011 season. Not just the goals either, he all the sudden is all over the ice making plays. WTF
  12. I want our "core" players on the ice as little as possible in the 3rd unless Vancouver gets within 3 goals. There's no telling what these idiots will do in all this garbage time.
  13. holy crap Brouwer was pounding the crap out of Edler!
  14. Not anymore!
  15. I would love to see a stat that tells me the number of times Luongo has been pulled mid-game in the last 2 years and how many of those were from the Hawks. This is the 3rd time this season he's been yanked against the Hawks. This is [expletive] awesome. If we can hold serve at home..................AGHHHH dont do this to me. It's very unlikely to happen but if it did, it would be the greatest non-championship sports moment in my life. 5-0! It's so easy!
  16. At the very least, I am really glad I got at least a little enjoyment out of the hometown team this playoffs.
  17. Hard to not "play like ass" when you can't get into any offensive rhythm due to dubious calls. Oh and horrible unforced turnovers
  18. I know DRose's PER is higher than CP3s but I'm guessing you wouldnt have asked that question if the answer was Rose. Probably someone obscure like Aaron Gray, but I'll say D12.
  19. The funny thing about that is those 4 teams all won the title the previous season. You could make the assumption that, having known what they went through last season, have have paced themselves through the first round. Either that or because they played into June, they weren't running at 100% at that point.
  20. I'm just saying...its the easiest part of the schedule right now. Doesn't mean we're doomed or anything moving forward. If we are mediocre against the bad teams are are playing now, we'll have to play better to make the playoffs. Except the Rockies are one of the best teams in the NL and the Brewers are with us and the Reds at the top of our mediocre division. What does that have to do with playing an easy schedule so far? Yeah we played the Rockies, the Brewers are mediocre and we havent played the Reds.
  21. Ummmmm what? The Cubs also defeated the Padres on Monday. I think he's referring to Russell's faulty logic that 2 out of 3 is as good as a sweep.
  22. 1st half will be a lot like the first 2 games...Pacers come out with a ton of energy, hold a 3-10 point lead the entire first half until the end when the Bulls grab a 1 point lead at the half. Then in the 3rd, Bulls finally look dominant and take a 20 point lead at one point. In the 4th, a Pacers run gets them to within 7 but the Bulls hold on for an 11 point win. 101-90.
  23. Yeah that's really weird. I wonder if that's ever happened before (4 straight non-conference games)
