What does his age have to do with it? He's been playing 44 minutes a night for the past two months, destroyed Boston and Chicago (again, on both ends) and has been playing out of his mind on defense in this series. It's not even remotely possible that he doesn't have another gear on offense, can't push it against a really good defender and can instead spend his energy on defense since his awesome teammate is being guarded by a traffic cone? I'm not apologizing for LeBron; I'm just exploring the other myriad possibilities besides him being afraid of "the moment." I guess those scenarios are possible. Maybe my problem is that I hear so many people trying to compare him to Jordan that I do the same and just shake my head laughing at anyone who believes they are in the same stratosphere. It's like Kobe. Kobe is a fantastic player, and obviously I'm biased but I don't see Kobe is the same realm as MJ, when people were openly wondering if Kobe passes MJ by getting his 6th title. Jordan wins out in just about every statistical catergory and would have won the same number of titles, all of them as the leading man. And somehow Kobe is allowed to be in the GOAT discussion? There's just no way.
