    Credit where credit is due, the pass blocking has been pretty good tonight. I needed to see this. How concerned should I be if Roy Williams goes the first 2 games without a catch and a drop.

    Amazing that they are able to spot that infraction but somehow miss the blatant holds right in front of them.

    Yeah we should probably target a legit WR in the offseason. It's too bad we didn't have the cap space to sign anyone good this year because there were quite a few good WRs out there.

    Probably because its preseason and it's ultimately not that big of a deal.

    Sweet...announcers are really praising Cutler's footwork.

    Great play but Cutler. He does actually look different. On that bomb to Hester, he looked like he was going to wing one of his back foot but too a spilt second to adjust himself and threw a beauty with perfect footwork.

    I was going to complain that Johnny Knox should learn what a touchback is, but then I realized it is the preseason and its stupid not to attempt the returns. I loathe this dumb new rule. Why make a rule that makes the game less exciting? What is wrong with having Special teams as part of the formula for winning games?

    Despite giving up points, that was a decent drive by the Bears. They forced I think 4 third downs. They stopped them on 2 of them, and one of the ones they didnt stop them, they probably would of without a blatant hold. The Dline is getting into the backfield, the secondary is active, the linebackers are covering a lot of ground. Good stuff.

    So I flip from the Bears game and see its bases loaded 1 out for the Cubs. I flip back to the Bears and 10 minutes later I flip back and its 1-0 Braves. Sounds about right

    I was like who the hell on the Bears is named Pascoe Eli is making some awful passes thus far.

    Julius Peppers is such a game changer. I hope Melton can keep it up in the regular season. If so the Bears line will be really really good.

    I can see it now, the Bears are going to cut Podlesh in favor of the rookie to save money, even though they are 20 mil under the cap, and it will come back to haunt them a la Carlos Huerta.

    Bah, at least the line is playing OK Oh and our special teams is [expletive] awesome.

    Thank God Knox isn't the regular punt returner. He's already fielded 2 punts inside the 10 yard line.

    I didn't realize there was a punting battle going on. I thought Podlesh was a fairly well respected punter.
