    Especially frustrating considering the amount of money they had available this past offseason. In theory I don't mind that move because like I said, we had a ton of options that Angelo hand picked for us. Wright was a 3rd rounder, Steltz was a 4th rounder, Conte a 4th rounder. We traded a developing LB for another safety, and then spent money on another safety. The issue is, for the most part the safeties kind of all suck except Harris.

    Maybe at some point the Bears will decide to cover Smith. 6 years of him torching us.

    Actually I just watched the replay and he didn't. I thoght I saw it originally. Looked like all he did was do 3 somersaults in a row.

    I thought safety would be a strength this year considering how many resources we've spent on that position group between trades (Chris Harris), draft picks (Wright, Steltz, Conte) and FA signings (Merriweather) Instead we have one player I feel good about starting, and we can't keep him on the field (Harris). Just another Angelo failure.

    Everything is brutalizing this D. No pressure, receivers getting open, RBs finding big holes. Disasterous drive thus far.

    I knew the Cardinals werent going to just roll over. Its good to hear Bob Brenley. I bet he's glad hes actually calling meaningful baseball and not spending his days bitching about Soriano.

    Your team is terrified of Denard as a running back. Some cool playcalls by Michigan so far. It'll be fun seeing those plays later on in the season. I know its Minnesota, but Michigan looks really sharp on both sides of the ball today...and yeah really interesting play calls that will surely give the other Big 10 OCs something to think about. I'm starting to feel better about the possibility of 8-4 or 9-3 this year.

    Full practice participation on Wednesday followed by none Thursday and today. Reaggravated injury? We can beat Carolina without him but it would be nice to have him back for Detroit. Would have been nice to have him to face his former team too, just for that extra motivation from him.
