If I'm a RS fan, that article means more to me than the full page ad. that was an amazingly good read, has to make Boston fans feel better about the situation. I thought his comments on his relationship with Luccino were amusing, it just sounded like he was trying not to call him an ass. So, when does Theo expect the Cubs to be contenders? Today at 11AM CST

Theo doesn't need to throw a ton of money at a player right away to build a winner. That's not even why Tommy wanted Theo so bad. That said, I'd love to have one of them. -

Week 1, in one game they had 0-6 Miami and in the other 2-4 Denver Week 2 they had 0-6 St. Louis Week 3 it was crappy and boring 3-3 Washington Week 4 it was 0-7 Indy Week 5 was probably the best game of the year with 5-2 Detroit playing 4-3 Chicago Week 6 0-6 Miami makes another appearance Week 7 we have 1-5 Jacksonville In 7 weeks they have featured winless teams 4 different times, and only had 1 game where both teams are currently over .500 at this point in the season. Incredible futility there. Also, Jacksonville and St. Louis both make encore appearances on MNF later this year.

I take it you didn't watch Browns/Seahawks yesterday I did not. And somehow Joe Flacco is giving Charlie Whitehurst a race for worst performance of the week. nevermind i think this game topped the Browns Seahawks game. This is embarrassing for MNF. What a horrible year of MNF games so far.

That and lying afterwards trying to blame the priest for it. That was stupid but no reason to fire someone, especially because there is no way to know what was really said or how it came about.

Definitely going to far to fire him (especially at that point in time) but also definitely a bit embarrassing and [expletive] stupid. Maybe, but it had no effect on the games, so what does it matter. If any other team had a priest bless a field before a playoff series, it wouldn't have even made the newspaper. But in Wrigley it becomes an embarrassing story. T for the Cubs. The only thing I'll gripe about is not doing it in private before people were at the park.

I don't either. Wait, what? You both don't know why people here with at least a couple brain cells between them find the stories that try to paint Kenney as the root of what's wrong with the Cubs to be rather ridiculous? Why do you think he is good at his job when everything is pointing in the other direction? The article says that Kenney has done a great job on the business side of things.

? The news outlets showed a clip of him getting into a car with her as they walked out of Wrigley. Looked like a white 90's VW Jetta from what little I saw of it. Hmm, I'll look outside my building for that car and if I find it I'll be sure to break in and smell the passanger's seat.
