Meh, I'm not worried about preventing scoring as much as I'm worried about sacks, ints, fumbles, defensive tds and return tds. If your league counts return TDs under defense, it would make sense to start the Bears. I'm not sure how they are this year, but last year SD's special teams was the worst in the NFL by far. They were 1st in offense, 1st in defense, and 32nd in special teams. That combined with the fact that Rivers has been an interception throwing machine makes me want to start the Bears D there. Just looked it up, according to Football Outsiders, SD has the 27th best ST in the NFL this year, coming off a year where they were dead last. Arizona has the 4th best special teams this year. Not that special teams DVOA ratings come solely from kick and punt returns or kick and punt blocking, but it is a big part of it. All that said, the 49ers and Bears are 1-2 in special teams rankings, so maybe I'm overrated it. I just remember how bad SD's STs were last year and can't go against that.
