    Maybe Theo is filling out the Iowa roster I feel like every offseason move has gotten progressively worse. DeJesus ok nice signing, Stewart...eh, trading Marshall for nothing special...are you sure? Cubs sign Rnny Ceen...Good God!

    Basically the Bulls will be paying roughly $10 million more than they would have with the old CBA.

    Hawks, at +16, now have the 3rd best goal differential in the West so they are climbing up there. Not sure who else is playing tonight but the Hawks are currently 3 points up on the next best team.

    What an awful power play. I've been seeing the Hawks launch a lot of bad angle shots lately. Also, I've seen a Hawk behind the net or on the boards looking to center and there is not a Hawk there.

    Crazy...I didn't realize the Hawks are playing 9 of the next 10 at home. In the next 23 days, the Blackhawks have to leave Chicago for 1 day (December 21 - January 13)

    It's gonna be really weird to see K. Wood and T. Wood on the back of cubs jerseys next year.

    LOL way to limit yourself to only potential coaches who can speak French. I mean I get that the French speaking media is probably bigger than the English speaking, and he's going to do press conferences, etc. but come on. All that said, if the Cubs hired a manager that only spoke Spanish I guess I'd feel a little weird about it. I wouldn't try to drive him out of town but I'd prefer he spoke the national language, which is what Habs fans want. But then countering that again from what I understand, a majority of people from Quebec, especially a city like Montreal speak English well even though everything there is written in French. If the majority of Chicagoans spoke Spanish, again it would be more understandable to have a spanish speaking manager.

    losing Ramirez, Marshall, Pena, and in talks to trade Garza and possibly Marmol and replacing them with DeJesus, Stewart and minor league pieces so far certainly doesnt give much evidence that this is anything but a complete rebuild. The offseason isn't over but its becoming more clear to me that this is the route they are going. And whatever im cool with it.

    I mean whatever fine, get rid of the players I actually liked from the last few seasons. But can they stop all going to division rivals.

    This is becoming an Insight Bowl tradition for Iowa isnt it? Maybe this will propel them to victory this year as well.

    ok, i can get through this. Bulls and Blackhawks, you must at least get to your sports championship round for the next 3-4 years. Bears, you must add something new and exciting each year so that I can get excited to watch youtube videos of you practicing during training camp. The only gap I will have is from ~June 15-July 15th when bears camp starts. Then it will be mild excitement until the first week of September. Thankfully, I've had practice with pretending that sports don't exist from June to September the last couple of years. Can't wait to see what attedance is like in September next year. (all this said, I am all for a total rebuild if that's what happens. I just choose to ignore the product on the field for a couple of years.)

    I just want to know what all this "every chance to win is sacred" was about? The Offseason isn't over and we have holes to fill still, but I have a hard time imaging how this team is not worse than last years at this point.

    I love that Rose has his own rule named after him, but I hate the actual rule because it hurts the Bulls. OK Bulls you have 6 years to prove to Rose that you want to win. I know it seems unfathomable that Rose would even consider leaving the Bulls down the road, but Cavs fans felt the same way with LeBron when he got his first extension. He was also a hometown superstar who at the time said all the right things and pledged to remain with Cleveland. It's not very likely, but if the Bulls end up not quite getting over the hump over the next 6 years, due in part to management being unwilling to dip their toes in the luxury tax level to get that one final piece, I could see Derrick "I just want to win" Rose considering other options. People change and as players advance through their careers, they begin to realize they have a limited time in this game and don't want to play their whole career without a title. Anyways, I know I'm opening up a can of words, talking about something that won't be an issue for 6 years, and even still is like a 2% chance as it stands now, but I hope the Bulls brass has this at least in the back of their minds as the years pass.

    Damn. At least they made it entertaining. I hate when these games happen. So damn frustrating.

    I feel like we have couple of games like this each season. Go down a couple of goals come back to within 1 in 3rd. Get a ton of awesome chances but frustratingly nothing goes in. Another post.

    Wow 2 near disaster breakaways in 2 minutes. Some sloppy hockey for the Hawks the last couple of minutes. Can't seem to get established in the zone. I hate when comebacks end 1 goal short.
