  1. lol 66% FT shooter is 6-6 tonight. This is like the game of every single Ohio players lives.
  2. I still think they'll win, but if Ohio is going to randomly shoot 20% better than they did all year then what can you do? I realize UM has given them 1423023 open 3 point attempts, but still.
  3. lol 8-11 from the field this half. Shooting 59% for the game now.
  4. This is weird, Ohio is 201st in the country in FG% and 3pt% weird. Either way, they are shooting 56% today, vs 42.9% normally
  5. And then there's the missed point blank layups
  6. Oh wait they are the 201st best 3 point shooting team.
  7. Ohio is the best 3 point shooting team in the NCAA correct?
  8. Nope Edit: Probably
  9. Guess the committee was wrong about Missouris ranking after all
  10. Missouri really taking out their anger for being 8th on the S-curve here. I have Mizzou in my championship game :(
  11. I didn't mind the first 2 point attempt, there was enough time left to make it and foul and get another chance. But once that guy gets the rebound, he has to be smart enough to kick it out for a desperation 3. How do you lose track of time left that badly? For some reason I feel like all season I've seen a lot more terrible decisions at the end of basketball games then ever before. People taking halfcourt heaves with 4 seconds still left, shooting a heavily contested 2 with 2 seconds left down 3, fouling in a tie game, etc.
  12. Anyways, I don't know if Marshall really hit that girl or not, but he came across really well in that press conference. That was not the type of person I was expecting at all. I mean I knew he wasn't a thug or anything, but I wasn't expecting someone who was courteous and willing to go deep into his condition, his experience with it and how things have changed since being diagnosed. Like I said before, I would have gotten really annoyed with all the questions, but Marshall seemed to welcome the questions. He also seemed really humble. I'm not naive enough to buy completely into press conference personality (I remember thinking Milton Bradley came off well in his Cubs PC, but not as good as Marshall), but it certainly leads me to believe he might actually is a really good, but troubled, guy.
  13. no it wasnt I thought I read somewhere on the day the trade was made that it was the Panthers pick and I've been under that assumption since then.
  14. I guess this tournament is all about huge collapses. UNLV against Colorado, Harvard against Vandy, and now Texas against Cincinnati. Of course the first 2 couldnt finish the comeback but at least it makes things mildly excited.
  15. I dont think that was douche jay, that was 'trying to be funny' jay.
  16. I agree, I would have snapped already instead of calmly answering all these questions.
  17. And yes, I can't stand him anymore. Sorry its too forced and contrived. I'm sick of hearing him going insane as if a game winning shot is hit when Michigan hits a 3 to make the score 16-11. Plus I hear he is unhealthily biased towards Indiana.
  18. It's the little things that bother me. Like the other night Boozer puts up a shot from the baseline that goes over the hoop and barely clangs off the back iron on its way down and Funk describes the play as "Boozer shoots one...that's short" Isolated you can say that's stupid nit picking, but when that's one of 30 similar mistakes he makes during a given game, it becomes obsessively infuriating. I should definitely find some way to turn it into a drinking game so I lighten up about it, but sometimes its fun to channel all of life's frustrations and angers onto Neil Funk.
  19. I'm sure there will be enough people who overreact to one game and put that into question.
  20. Other then the refs blatently screwing a small school, this day has been terribly boring. If you exclude teams that were down by 4 with a minute left and the other team is shooting FTs every possession, not a single game has gone down to the wire. Too many blowouts.
  21. Holy [expletive], this is embarassing. Wow.
  22. Wow, a terrible lane violation call gives Syracuse 2 critical points with 1:20 left up 4. Sketchy
  23. Bulls just couldnt budge on Jimmy Butler.
  24. Is this the start of the city of Buffalo's turnaround? If it's good enough for Mario Williams, its good enough for everyone. Either that or they promised that the Bills will be playing in Toronto or LA within 2 seasons.
