Meh, the regular officials do it too. It's my biggest gripe of the instant replay system. The rules clearly state that you need conclusive evidence that the play should be reversed. It is not a judgement call, but too many refs play it that way No "meh." It was a terrible decision by the ref. Quite obviously not conclusive, and a bizarre call to overturn based on it. My meh was to saying the stupid decision was because of the replacement refs, when I'm pretty sure a regular ref would overturn that. Not enough evidence to overturn. Doubt they should. I understand, thats exactly what I was arguing above. I'm saying that refs always make judgement calls on replays and don't abide by the "conclusive evidence to overturn" rule, and its not just replacement refs. I agree that its the wrong call and I hate it passionately.
