  1. Sorry CT this is all your fault...you're done Ye Ol' Gauntlet (1-4) Week 9: No offense Week 10: No defense and offense Week 11: Fluke win Week 12: Defense choked Week 13: Everything sucked Can't wait to see how many guys get injured this week! PS: GB fans are allowed, I just always wanted to say that in a game thread.
  2. Other than the Cowboys, the Bucs were the 2nd least worrisome team below us because of their horrid conference record. But I'll take it I guess Oh I know, but this def takes them out of the picture now so 1 less team to worry about. The question will be the NFC east if Giants loses to the Saints. Do Bears have tiebreaker over Giants if they ended up not winning the division? I'm gonna run though the tiebreaker picture at some point today. I will say the Giants would have a 6-4 conference record after losing tonight, with the Bears at 5-4. That means the Giants only have 2 more conference games left. The target for the Bears is probably 10-6, meaning if they won 2 and lost 1, they'd be at 7-5. The Giants to tie the Bears would have to win all 3 of their remaining games, which means they would win the tiebreaker with a better conference record. Of course none of this considers 3 team scenarios and everything else.

  4. I guess the good news is that the Bears gained 2 wins over +500 teams this week and are now 3-5 against teams with +500 records (W: IND, DAL, MIN, L: GB, HOU, SF, SEA, MIN). The bad news is that this has nothing to do with anything.
  5. 1994 against the 49ers, they won the week before on the road against the Vikings
  6. OK Cowboys just won, and Redskins too. Bucs about to win too. That means every team below us won and we lost. Playoff picture Bears 8-5 Seahawks 7-5 ------------- Vikings 7-6 Redskins 7-6 Buccaneers 7-6 Cowboys 7-6 Rams 6-6-1 Yes there are now 4 teams that are a game behind us in the playoff race. If we lose to GB we could be on the outside looking in going into week 16. This is really happening.... Edit: Whoops, looks like TB lost on the last play of the game.
  7. Cowboys about to win now. They'll be 7-6 too but not as worried as we have the tiebreaker over them.
  8. Welp, OB had a heart attack before he could get on the air. He's not on today, Dan Hampton subbing in
  9. Dammit...Redskins tied it up and going to OT. A Redskins win would be really bad for our playoff chances
  10. There's the record...most receptions in a season in bears history
  11. That was awesome....Campbell checks down way too early and Forte lets the ball go over his head because he's not expecting it
  12. Dan Bernstein says they are evaluating him for a 'neck injury'
  13. Here we go.....
  14. Actually what am I saying? If Cutler is concussed for the 2nd time in a month, that's not going to be a 1 week recovery this time.
  15. You don't concede a game down 2 scores with 3 minutes left. Either Cutler is concussed or Lovie is a moron who will get hammered for this after the game. If Cutler is concussed, it might be the best thing that happens for the Bears if he can come back by the Arizona game. He doesnt need to play in that GB game.
  16. At least they started Jeffery over Hester today? He's going down the depth chart. They should release him. Or trade him to Dallas for whatever the cryptkeeper wants to give us. And I'm not kidding. I agree...its been fun but it's time to go Devin
  17. Dammit, Rams about to win. Playoff picture Bears 8-5 Seahawks 7-5* ------------- Vikings 7-6* Buccaneers 7-6 Rams 6-6-1^ Cowboys 6-7 (losing by 9 with 7 mins to go) ^ * = Currently hold tiebreaker over Bears. Seahawks by H2H win, Vikings by 3-2 division record vs. 2-2 for Bears ^ = Bears hold tiebreaker over. Both because of H2H win Note: Bears pretty much have the tiebreaker over TB clinched, and the Vikings tiebreaker can still be won by the Bears if they win their last 2 division games, and/or Vikings lose their last division game.
  18. Sports radio is going to be brutal to the Bears. I know I say this after every loss, but this is going to be on its own level of negative. Especially knowing we play the Packers this week so the team is staring down an 8-6 record.
  19. His sweet dancing moves with the ball at the LOS
  20. Before today's game there was a stat that Cutler had been the QB that was most negatively affected by drops this year, in terms of number of drops by WRs and the number of yards lost due to drops. Today should make it even worse.
  21. hahaha hilarious. these pathetic offensive output games are adding up 10 against GB 13 against Detroit 6 against Houston 7 against San Francisco 7 against Minnesota
  22. lol TD drop #9?
  23. Someone tell the Bears offense they are down 2 TDs with 5:00 left.....6 yard check down passes in the middle of the field aren't going to work
  24. Well at least the Bears managed to get to the Minnesota 40 4-5 times today.
