  1. Great work by SNL last night to spoof the blackout. http://deadspin.com/5983117/saturday-night-lives-cold-open-spoofed-the-super-bowl-blackout
  2. Who is 23? He killed you guys on that half court play and also on letting Berg have such an easy look for a 3 at the end of OT. Berg is not going to kill you penetrating and if he does it would only be 2 points. Levert is actually put in those situations for defense and has had some success there this year but I agree he didn't really do the job today at all. He's a freshman playing critical minutes on the road. Love this Michigan team but we are getting a lot of critical mistakes down the stretch. McGary missed a fast break layup in OT, Stauskas had a critical turnover that led to the game winning 3, and I'm not sure Glenn Robinson III actually played in this game. Ill have to watch the game again. Robinson and Stauskas also had bad turnovers down the stretch in the OSU game that almost blew that game too. It's hard to get angry though because they are freshman and will get better and despite the mistakes we beat OSU and did everything but win this one.
  3. How does the most efficient offense in the country score 6 total points in 10 minutes of overtime this week? Agh sorry still pissed off over the game. Gonna have recurring nightmares of that half court shot for weeks. Just finally got over Evan Turners.
  4. Michigan 1-3 on the road against the Top 5 of the league. MSU next Most enraging sports loss for me in a long time.
  5. I think it would be Duke again by default, or possible Indiana if they win in Columbus this weekend. You'd be looking at a week when the #1, 2, 3 and 5 teams all lost.
  6. so hard to watch
  7. I'm so glad Michigan only has to play Wisconsin once this season. 14 mins left in the 1st and its 5-5 and I am dead bored.
  8. I cant remember...was that meeting with Prior before or after he killed Aaron Harrang?
  9. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/chi-chicago-bulls-toronto-raptors-trade-20130207,0,1586359.story Sounds unlikely because of Booz's contract though. Isn't Nate Robinson a slighty better scoring/slightly worse defending verision of John Lucas?
  10. Lets round em all up so you can laugh at them
  11. Florida lost to Arkansas on Tuesday Forgot about that. So yeah Michigan should be back to #1 with a win Saturday Possibly until they play at MSU next week...then its Dukes turn again.. and the carousel keeps turning.
  12. Florida lost to Arkansas on Tuesday
  13. Meh, Gonzaga isnt a major conference team but you gotta include them among the major 2 loss teams...they have a SOS comparable to many major conference teams.
  14. Seriously, where where these goals in the playoffs last year? Smith just decided to start letting them go in now?
  15. Keep it coming! At this point, I don't even want this team to go back to Chicago
  16. Celtics lose 5 in a row, lose Rondo, then win 6 in a row. Go figure
  17. Haha I'd love to see what the committee does with an Illini team that goes 7-11 in the conference with wins @ Gonzaga, Butler neutral, and vs. Indiana and Ohio State. Nice win! With Florida and Indiana losing Michigan can get back to #1 with a win at Wisky this weekend.
  18. This is going over well in Wolverineland
  19. I agree that Butlers emergence would play into why they would make this trade.
  20. Yay, the nation's largest 1 team market will no longer have the smallest stadium capacity in the NFL next year. http://deadspin.com/5982547/raiders-will-reduce-seating-capacity-to-the-nfls-smallest-in-attempt-to-avoid-tv-blackouts
  21. He started against Phoenix earlier in the year and looked real shaky IIRC. I think he gave up 4 goals.
  22. Keith Law ranked the top 10 for each of the NL teams today. Here is the Cubs: And his comments on the Cubs system: If anyone wants to see any info for other teams, let me know.
  23. Sound FX for the last 4 minutes of the Super Bowl. Great stuff in there, including Joe Flacco, looking absolutely serious, telling anyone who would listen to tackle Ted Ginn from the sidelines if he broke the punt return and was heading for a touchdown. Also captures the Jim and John Harbaugh meeting after the game ended. http://www.nfl.com/videos/auto/0ap2000000136915/Sound-FX-Ravens-win-Super-Bowl-XLVII
  24. Kiper now has the Bears taking DJ Fluker in the first round. This is his writeup:
  25. meh we did that last year. Does suck to see the Bulls go from 1 game up on the pacers to 1 game back having only played 1 game themselves. Didn't everyone do the back to back to back thing last year? Yeah...but not everyone won all 3 of the games.
