  1. Bulls shooting 40% for the game but leading by 34. Weird
  2. I just read the same thing. So how does this work exactly? What happens if the pitcher makes a move to third but doesn't throw the ball, then the runner takes a huge secondary lead and gets caught up between first and second base and runs back to first? The pitcher just has to stand and watch him? I'm sure it's a judgement call like all balks are. If there's an obvious lag between the fake to third and the throw back to first it won't be called. Though I'm sure if there's a way for a baserunner to exploit the rule we will find out quickly.
  3. Apparently the fake to third throw to first move is now a balk.
  4. Not sure if that's based on some new info or not but isn't that what he said in the first post-Lovie presser? That's when the East-West game is.
  5. yes having a head coach in place right now is super important for...umm watching the other playoff games?
  6. Well Atlanta will still be at home, the 49ers will be traveling almost as far as Seattle did (not sure if they have the late or early game), albeit not 2 weeks in a row. Seattle just destroyed SF less than a month ago...what you mentioned doesn't make up a huge 8.5 point gap between last weeks line and this weeks in my mind. I think it has more to do with SF a) being a more national team with more bettors, and b) beating GB, another national team, soundly the previous week. Still seems like an high line though overall.
  7. And yes should have beaten Seattle, and could have beaten Houston and at least one of the games against GB, possibly both. But we got killed by SF and that's exactly who would have waxed us again had GB won that last game.
  8. Yeah that seems odd.
  9. Yeah it's a tweet. Reading some of the others from that account, including ones that attribute to Bucher, I'm pretty certain that's saying Rose's advisers, not the team's. Another tweet attributed to Bucher says those same advisers are "going to be on the Bulls hard if they don't add a legit Star before next season". Isn't it pretty well established that there's no increased risk of reinjury once the injury is healed and rehabbed? I can understand sitting out if the extra time is going to decrease the chances of reinjury. But sitting out because the team sucks and can't win? I'm not sure how these "advisors" are, but it seems stupid. From what I've read over the last 10 months, the chance of reinjury is low once you get to a certain point. Given the things at stake, I'm assuming that point will be long passed by the time Rose steps on the court. If you want to look at concerns of coming back too soon, look at Rubios comeback. I think I read he hasn't played more than 22 minutes in a game, has only played back to back games once and recently injured his back due to overcompensating for his knee not being strong enough or something (I might have explained that wrong).
  10. I don't like the giant black penis advertisement they've added to the LF roof
  11. Well needless to say, this weeks games were infinitely more entertaining than last weeks. And we're still not far into the 4th one.
  12. I know he's been around forever, but the Chiefs havent won a playoff game since the early 90s
  13. Smith calling that TO with 13 seconds left was as bad as the playoff game when Lovie Smith called a TO with 1 second left against the Seahawks to give them a free shot at a hail mary to end the Bears season.
  14. I know they just signed him this week but does longwell really have no chance at a 65 yard FG in a dome? I'm just asking.
  15. LMAO!! And the craziness continues
  16. LMAO, Bryant decides to kick the FG well after the TO is called and misses. That's gotta mess with his head
  17. This is either going to be the greatest moment in Atlanta sports history or the worst
  18. As a Bears fan, I will say that 31 seconds is more than enough time for a GW FG drive Edit: Whoops, several others have already alluded to that Bears game and the fact that theres enough time left to get a FG
  19. [expletive] hell. I was planning on making fun of OSU rushing the court despite dominating the rivalry in both sports over the last decade and they couldn't even give me that. What a weekend in college basketball.
  20. Ouch. I thought that was going in. Don't mind Burke taking that shot but in general Michigan killed itself by taking too many long contested threes down the stretch and missed almost every one.
  21. Love how Tim Hardaway has improved this year but he still takes some of the silliest shots sometimes.
  22. I've thought that the officials have let a lot go in this game. Ill take the phantom elbow of course.
  23. Wow cut the 20 point lead down to 4 with 7 mins left.
  24. Holy crap. They are literally just handing the ball off to Ohio State. This is an embarrassing start in every way for Michigan.
