Hawks being outshot again...if it keeps that way they will have been outshot in 3 of the 6 games, with only one game where we outshot the opponent by more than 2 SOG.
Trey Burke shoots 7-19 and still puts up a sexy line of counting stats. Hopefully UM can take care of Northwestern before the @ Ind, vs. OSU, @ Wis, @ MSU gauntlet afterwards.
Rather awkward lame duck period for the Hornets name the rest of this season, especially if we somehow find out that Charlotte will be allowed to take that name back while the season is still going on.
Tonight there was a good SOG margin but overall it's actually only been ok. Tonight: Hawks 41 Stars 23 STL: Blues 34 Hawks 27 PHX: Hawks 31 Coyotes 29 LA: Hawks 22 Kings 21
That's crazy to me. He had 48 extra base hits in 398 PA's. It's hard to imagine that doesn't come out to much of an upgrade? I'm guessing it has to do with Campana stealing 30 bases in 33 attempts (in only 198 PAs) and having a positive defensive WAR (0.2 in limited action). Hairston had a -0.9 DWAR last year. Hairston had a 1.0 WAR in 400 PA while Campana had a 0.9 WAR in 200 PA
SSR is silent because the Celtics did the exact same thing last year and ended up a game from the Finals. At this point last year people were calling the Celtics washed up and they needed to rebuild.
