Who is sitting out? Better be either Carcillo or Handzus. Both are worthless. Probably Carcillo. I think they said on the score that Handzus is centering the 4th line tonight.

Do we have the best hitting pitchers in baseball? Seems like almost every game the pitcher is driving in a run.

I think Zambrano gave up like half as many HR as he gave up all season in that one game. This always irritated me. He gave up 9 HRs all season (214 IP) and 3 HRs in a span of 4 hitters in Game 1.

I still think The Hawks win in 6. I am just a little glad that some Hawks fans are going to have to eat a little bit of crow after the talking they were doing after game 1(not really here but some other places) Truth is that in 6 games this season the Hawks were far superior in 2. 3 games were about even and now the Wings have been superior in 1. This has not been as one sided as some Hawks fans think. I don't blame Hawks fans for getting a little cocky after game 1. They really looked good. But anyone who expected the Hawks to just sweep Detroit is probably a bandwagoner that hasn't followed Detroit over the last 15 years. They have depth issues and aren't as collectively talented as years past but they have great coaching for the lost part and a lot of top end talent. They are a tough out.

Hawks looked awful in losing Game 1 to Nashville in the Cup year and also lost game 3 and won the series. Hawks got completely dominated in Game 1 at home against Vancouver the next series and then won 4 of the next 5 games. While you don't want to give up home ice, I am not too worried overall because I know the Hawks are a much better team than they've shown. Excuses for the loss: -Odd schedule (2 games in 9 days) -Afternoon game -Q out coached -Red Wings desperate after getting dominated on Wednesday

Yeah that was why I hesitated to cheer to play Detroit. Doesn't matter though the Hawks are the better team and will come back to Chicago up 3-1.

I swear the Wings have gotten maybe 6-7 better SOG than than any Blackhawks shot today save the goal and maybe one other attempt. They are just getting good chances at will today.

Wings have played awesome too. Their game plan has completely befuddled the Hawks skill players and I haven't seen any major adjustments that have worked. Regardless of whether we come back today or not, Q needs to make some adjustments and outcoach Babcock in game 3

I'm not scared of the Hawks needing to win at the Joe but if they keep playing like this then yeah I'm worried.
