Has the lineup been announced post Barney's injury? Guess: DeJesus, CF Castro, SS Rizzo, 1B Soriano, LF Schierholtz, RF Castillo, C Lillibridge, 2B Valbuena, 3B
It's top 12 protected this year, top 10 next year, top 8 the following year, then unprotected. So basically they'll have a great draft pick in 3 years. unless they finally nail a lottery pick and get a superstar.
I should have been more prepared for a good team making a comeback during this tournament of comebacks, but I wasn't. Hopefully UM can survive the run and get back to dominating.
Ok, you're added to the rotation. Sweetpeteman, whenever you're ready... Yes get that game thread up or I will. I don't care if Lillibridge and Valbuena are in the starting lineup, I'm excited!
Bulls were not doing anything but running the clock for the last few minutes. Dallas had to score pretty much on every possession and they did. How is Butler a 83% FT shooter? I feel like I'm always seeing him miss big ones. Also that should have been a flagrant foul and that directly led to Dallas winning. But at the end of the day, Dallas is desperate for wins and Dirk just didn't miss.
If you want to be right downtown for a bar, I'd suggest Scotty's or Kilroy's. While I don't love either, both will be full of basketball fans and are the best of subpar bar options downtown (if you have more time this weekend, the Mass Ave area is much better for food/bars, and is in the downtown area too). I was going to say, Mass Ave would be the best place to go but its on the other end of downtown I believe, but the bars are of a much higher quality. Also love the outdoor deck at the Rathskeller on a nice night.
Holy hell that is huge. Makes you realize how small the footprint of Wrigley is compared to modern ballparks where a jumbotron that size doesnt stand out nearly as much.
