That's what I was thinking when I started this thread. I haven't forgotten UMFan's threads that derailed Prior and Wood's careers. If I ever come across Prior in person, I'm convinced he's going to punch me in the face.

So umm Rip Hamilton is playing tonight.

We will see. Beilein has taken less talented Michigan teams to the tourney. I guess I shouldn't say anything with certainty since they'd be losing almost the entire core team from this year but I believe in Beilein as a coach and Michigan certainly wouldn't be short on talent.

According to weather.com there is a 0% chance of rain from now until 8 then just 30-40% chance of isolated/scattered storms through when the game would get done. So tonight doesn't looks like it's in much danger of getting canceled/PPD. Yeah the weather report looked a lot differently this morning, I think.

Personally I don't think McGary leaves. Robinson shouldn't leave but he will. McGary probably won't leave, but the other 3 seem to be as good as gone. And I don't care how many stars a player has, he's not going to come in and come close to replicating what Trey Burke did this year... I think Michigan will be a top 25 team again next year, but let's get real, Trey Burke was so vital to this team and they won't be the same next year. Yeah I'm not saying they are going to be back in the National Championship game next year, just that I think they will be a top 25 team.

The Hawks have 62 points in 38 games. In 03-04 (last pre-lockout year) and 05-06 (first post-lockout year) the Hawks averaged 62 points in 82 game seasons. Also the Hawks have 29 wins this year. In the 9 seasons between 1997-1998 and 2006-2007, the Hawks averaged 29.8 wins per season. I realize that the post lockout changes have led to more wins overall (instead of ties) but that's still nuts.

Wonder if this game and/or tomorrow's will be played. Forecast doesn't look great.

I'll give everyone on this forum $5 if Burke returns to UM next year.

Guess its time for me to lament on the poor officiating and the little moments that could have gone the other way. I usually don't bitch about the refs because I know I view the game with biased eyes and notice calls that go against my team a lot more than calls that go in their favor but I cant help but think there were a lot more bad calls against UM tonight. -Blatant goaltending towards the beginning of the game goes uncalled. There was no debate on that call, it should have been but wasnt called -Burke's 2nd foul, the one that caused him to sit the final 11 minutes of the 1st half, was quite phantom. Can disregard that one because the backup PG scored 17 points in his absence -The block by Burke that was called a foul...again pretty close to undebatable -Hancock committing his 4th foul and not getting it called on him. He picked up his 5th (offically 4th) foul shortly after and played the rest of the game and hit big FTs down the stretch I'm missing a couple other slightly less blatant ones. But at the end of the day, the Cardinals scored 61 points in the final 24 minutes of the game and absolutely destroyed UM on the boards (at least over the last 25 or so minutes....the final margin was UL 31 (15), UM 26 (8) but I know at one point in the 1st half they showed a graphic but can't remember the numbers and the announcers said 'Michigan is dominating on the boards so far'). They are the better team overall and in the end they won. Kudos to them.

Congrats to Louisville....Burke missed 2 shots all game and Albrecht scored 17 points and we still lost. At least we still have 2 TOs left

If the refs knew how to call a goaltend this game would have a lot more drama at the moment

Hawks sweep the home and home! They would be on pace for 134 points in an 82 game season. To compare, the most points scored by a team since the 1st lockout was 124 by the Wings back in like 2005. The most points ever in a season is 132 by the 76-77 Habs.
