So the Cubs blew a 5-0 lead and lost the 1st game, blew a 2-0 9th inning lead to fall behind 3-2 before coming back and winning the 2nd game, had runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out down 3-2 in the 8th inning of the 3rd game and didn't score, and now blew a 4-1 lead and now trail 5-4 in this one. Damn.
Time between Jordan's 1st retirement and his comeback game against the Pacers: 1 year, 5 months, 13 days Time between Rose's torn ACL injury and his comeback game in Brazil against the Wizards: 1 year, 5 months, 14 days
Dammit, I flipped to the blackhawks game right before the Castro AB, came back to see it was 2-1, saw Soriano single and then flipped back to the Hawks as Schierholtz stepped to the plate.
Castillo just dominating with runners on 3rd and less than 2 outs. Runners on 2nd and 3rd, 0 outs in the 2nd.....K Bases loaded, 1 out in the 8th....GIDP
Come on overtime has been a part of hockey since 1983. You can't call the OT win make believe. 4 on 4 is much newer...but I made my sour grapes post. Congrats to the Hawks..they swept the Wings in the last year of them being divisional rivals At least you have the majority of the last 80+ years.
