  1. The black unicorn!
  2. terrible delay of game. you gotta snap that Jay come on
  3. The thing that annoys me about this Cutler thing is the anti-Jay people all the sudden act like Cutler is a terrible QB who can't get out of his own way. It's like they are only remembering his bad performances and completely forget the many many times when Cutler has been great in his Bears career.
  4. This seems odd probably because we play here every other preseason but this is only the Bears second regular season game in Cleveland since 1992.
  5. I'm going to go with Bears 31 Browns 27
  6. Sorry if posted elsewhere already but the Yankees are supposedly interested in Barney.
  7. Looks like Briggs is officially out Sunday but Trestman said hes optimistic that he'll play against Philly next week. Also, Rodgers is officially out Sunday for GB
  8. Agreed, I have Allen and my opponent has Peyton Manning. Good week for Manning to suck! I didnt watch the game last night and was pissed when I saw that Allen only had 2 catches for 29 yards, then I scrolled over to the TD column...
  9. Because of pain? Wimp. Found out my co-worker is from Chico and went to school with Aaron's brother. She said Rodgers was nice in church but a total dick everywhere else. I'm surprised when a superstar athlete is anything but a dick. I would probably be a dick to most people too.
  10. This is sarcasm, right? Look at the poster making the comment
  11. I've been saying that exact same thing all the way down to loving the guy since Rose went down. I definitely think it's something you explore
  12. Really? The Browns have a legit defense. I would much rather he had come back for the Vikings or Cowboys. The Browns defense is 23rd in the league in DVOA. 22nd against the pass and 18th against the run. I start to wonder about DVOA when I see it has the Bears defense 19th and not dead last again the run
  13. This is late but just saw this on Reddit: http://i.imgur.com/A5xplsI.png http://i.imgur.com/3Owp1MQ.png http://i.imgur.com/hWD6HTU.png
  14. So Joba and Carmona are gone. I'm shocked no one wants to play for a crappy team that's just going to trade them in July.
  15. I get the logic but why bring back Cutler if you aren't going to let him play his game? I don't think that's going to do much to help the Bears decide if Cutler is the guy next year and beyond.
  16. Who'd have thought the Celtics would be better than the Bulls this year, eh SSR?
  17. I take it you probably hate soccer; what if the Chicago soccer team was the only good team in town? That's what it's like when the Blackhawks are good. there were years when the fire were the best team in Chicago (1999-2000) and no one gave a [expletive]. When the Blackhawks won the Cup 2 million people showed up to celebrate. I'm not arguing/don't care which is more popular; I was responding to the guy wondering why someone in Chicago wouldn't be a Blackhawks fan. If you dislike hockey then the city's hockey team being good is akin to the Fire being good for someone that doesn't like soccer. gotcha, carry on then

  19. Please don't be dumb and take anything from what Boras says. There is an agenda behind everything he says.
  20. Throwing a ton of money at Peppers isn't necessarily a shrewd move or anything. Gould they got lucky with, I don't think it had anything to do with Angelo being a great evaluator of kicking talent. Especially because they had to sign him off the scrap heap because the kicker they started the year with was finished. Best move would probably either be Cutler or the 2003 draft, although drafting Hester was a lesser move that paid dividends for several years.
  21. Well that would make week 17 much easier I would think...although a rusty Aaron Rodgers playing in frigid conditions might not be the worst thing ever.
  22. I get the desire to list everything they've Fd up but, the radio booth? I honestly hope your hope never comes true because that is going to lead to a good decade or more of continued crappiness. You say that like everything's not on that path already. If they basically do nothing this offseason, the Wrigley renovation won't be complete until the 2018 season (if they are able to start next year). If the team isn't any good at that point, the whole thing will be a failure anyway. The absolute worst case scenario is that the farm system doesn't turn out quite as good as we all hope, they STILL don't spend money, and the stadium renovations is that they don't start until 2022 when that stupid rooftop contract expires, potentially ending the worst decade in a terrible franchise's history. Awesome. I can't even imagine how apathetic the fan base would be if the team was still bad in 2018. I don't know how Pirates fans did it for 20 years. Actually I guess they didn't they all found other ways to occupy their summers until the team showed a pulse again.
  23. Looks like Trestman's adamant "the good news is that [briggs] will play again this year" statement after the Washington game might not come true.
  24. Bulls are now 0-2 against the last place teams in the East and West
