  1. Damn this is good back and forth action. Neither team has had much luck establishing themselves in the offensive zone and most of the chances have been on long passes or defensive zone turnovers.
  2. Jesus just clear the puck.
  3. Hawks look great except getting off shots on prime chances.
  4. Jesus just bring Cornelison in to sing the anthem in road games too. Every other team has awful singers and for some strange reason that matters in hockey.
  5. Neutral? I feel negative but more like 40-60 odds of winning. And put me in the camp that if we win this game we win the series...heck like Dan Bernstein said, win this game and we win the Cup.
  6. If the Cubs play at their current pace until the deadline (.373 ball) and then play at the post-deadline winning percentage we had the last 2 seasons (.300 ball), the Cubs will finish 57-105, which would be the worst season in franchise history.
  7. On directv at least I've already seen two overflow channels. Yeah CSN has 2 overflow channels that I know of. The Cubs were on one earlier this year. Not sure about 3, but I'm sure they could find an emergency backup option on the chance that the Cubs, White Sox, Bulls and Blackhawks are all playing on the same day at the same time, on the same channel (don't forget the Hawks, Bulls and White Sox are still on WGN and the Bulls, Cubs and White Sox all occasionally play on the U). It would probably happen 1-2 times a year tops.
  8. Jesus, the Cubs have 4 less wins than the next worst team in baseball? That's incredible.
  9. Looks like LA is planning for some sort of ceremony tonight.
  10. Keith Law updated his top 25. Bryant jumps Baez and is 8th (up from 15). Baez drops from 7th to 9th. Almora and Soler are honorable mentions. http://insider.espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/10996551/minnesota-twins-outfielder-byron-buxton-no-1-top-25-prospect-ranking-mlb
  11. Missed the part where 780 was pretty much a done deal: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/hockey/blackhawks/ct-ratings-blackhawks-sherman-nhl-playoffs-spt-053-20140530,0,3215873.column
  12. All the more reason to stomp out the Kings and show the Rangers once and for all who the best anthem singers are.
  13. Q said that Shaw and Krueger are fine so I'm guessing they will both be in the lineup tomorrow.
  14. Javier Baez in front of a national audience? Very nice!
  15. this. No one did 5 yard outs on 3rd and 10 better than Terry Shea.
  16. Now that we all have a little bit of hope, and after 4 straight high scoring games, this one will be close and tense. Hawks will take a 2-1 lead into the third, Kings will dominate the entire period, pepper shot after shot at Crow, have a couple of tense PPs, and the Hawks will score with 3 minutes left on a 3-on-2 to take the game 3-1.
  17. And 10-1 in the Q era in Game 6s
  18. Now we extend our streak of consecutive series with a road win, and we can't lose game 7 at home. One week from today Toews is facing off against Richards at the UC
  19. Debating whether I should just enjoy the win or do the whole "yeah played their asses off and barely won at home with their season on the line" I'll enjoy the win Kane 4 assists on 5 shots
  20. We live to play another day. Suck it LA
  21. If the Kings score in 2OT, this really is the inverse of last year except the Hawks had home ice both years and no one on the Kings slashed a Hawk in the face with a stick.
