They said during the game today Stafford has never beaten a team on the road that went on to finish the year with a winning record. That seems impossible Yup...he has beaten teams that went on to finish 8-8 on the road 4 times though (2013 Bears, 2013 Cowboys, 2011 Cowboys, 2011 Broncos)

Lol Kentucky beating Montana State 58-11 with 11 mins left in the game. Montana state hasnt scored in the first 9 mins of the second half. Montana State shooting 12% from the field (5-44)

Sorry I meant second best in terms of points scored. In most other metrics they were more like 5th or 6th best.

I guess I don't understand why. Line blocking a little worse? Yeah. Jeffery with a step down? Yup. Marshall having a down year? Yup. But those can't account for the 2nd best offense in the league turning into somewhere in the late teens. Is it on Cutler? Trestmans play calling? Or a combo of a lot of things. It's rather perplexing.

I'm just happy there will be some meaning, however little, against the Lions. I'd watch either way but now I can look forward to it a little more.

This offense is completely different in terms of play calling the last month or so.

Can't be any worse than the last 2 times the Bears played on Thanksgiving could it? I believe the past 2 were 2004 against Dallas (the worst football game I've ever watched) and that 55-20 drubbing in Detroit

Trying to force the issue deep isn't the way to attack this defense Hasn't just been this week though.

Why did this offense get completely neutered? Brett Favre threw a bunch of picks but they still kept the offense opened up.

Weird to think that starting tomorrow the Bears have 3 games in the next 12 days and then 1 in the next 16. In 12 days we could either be anywhere from 7-6 and right back in it, or 4-9 and hoping we finish our tank.

lol Rose, Hinrich and Gasol all out tonight vs. Portland. Seriously why does it seem like every year we go through long stretches where multiple starters are out at the same time, and even times where the starter and the first backup is out? Do we need new trainers or something? Why does it seem like we are the most injury filled team in the league.

I just called into the Cubs phone number and asked for Jim Hen Theo Epstein to encourage him to work out a deal for Jon Lester. I know I'm crazy but what can I say? His secretary said he was in a meeting (maybe working on the contract for Lester?) so he couldn't take my call. I ended up leaving him a message telling her that I know Theo will do his best to counter the Heyward trade. I told her that I'm hoping Lester will be that player. The secretary said Theo will appreciate my kind words. 1) your a jerk for not calling Jeb and MC Cloud too 2) it's not even 2015 yet thanks for curising the cobs by posting that world series crap that isn't even real 3) yet I haven't posted an image like that for the last 106 years and the Cobs haven't won. So I'm pretty sure that means this will work.

The worst thing about the whole BFIB thing is that its not just some bit that is exagerated and takes a life of its own. No, Cardinals fans actually believe that they are different and better than fans of the other 29 teams, and they've shown it repeatedly.
