  1. I think Boston holds that title if we are talking this era, otherwise the 1971 Habs Yup I think Boston was better, but they are different styles of teams so at this point its difficult to tell which one is a harder team to beat. At least we can all agree that the Flyers sucked and we were just toying with them and no one had any doubts throughout the series (please don't go back to the 2010 thread to verify)
  2. If the Hawks were at home I'd be more nervous. On the road, I am happy just taking 1 of 2 from any team. Even if they dropped both, I have full confidence they could regroup and win the home games to even up the series. If they went down 3-0, I'd be pretty doubtful of their chances but couldn't entirely dismiss them. I mean this is the Blackhawks we're talking about. They are easily the most resillient team I've ever rooted for, or at least on par with the dynasty Bulls.
  3. I will admit I did notice it was a longer trot than normal, but only because I thought it was badass.
  4. Is it a STH presale or just a code that you use? If the later, I'd love to get my hands on that code :)
  5. My mostly uninformed takeaway from scouring the internet is that the Lightning are very good and could absolutely win the series but the Hawks should still be favorites.
  6. Which game though? Just over the 3 games this week http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lwllig8Yhe1qhwaxg.png
  7. I love how hard Rizzo tried to win it...hits a triple in the 9th in a game where a HR is really really tough to hit but is stranded at 3rd. Then in the 11th he's like "here's your game winning hit guys" yet Fowler can't slide properly. In my mind Rizzo won that game.
  8. That's what I'm doing in case of game 7. I might not be able to afford to get in but I would definitely be hanging around the arena ready to celebrate with Hawks fans if they won.
  9. Damn. I was hoping we'd give him his first ER of the season
  10. Does that seem a like too many years to anyone else? Maybe I am being unrealistic, but wouldn't 3 years with a 4th year option make more sense given his resume? Sure but you're getting him to walk away from whatever is left on his Iowa State deal.
  11. Just realized I'm going to be in Orlando for games 6 and 7. Can't celebrate in Chicago unless they win it in 4 or 5. The good news is that I can easily get to Tampa if there's a game 7.
  12. No problem! Glad it (sorta) worked.
  13. In the last 7 years, the Hawks have participated in 20 of a possible 28 playoff rounds.
  14. Too bad he's not guaranteed to get his name on the Cup unless he plays in the Finals
  15. Last 2 times we won the Cup we won the conference at home and the Cup on the road. This time we win the conference on the road....
  16. No, you keep drinking until Toews lifts the Cup
  17. And thus completes the So Cal trilogy with the Hawks emerging victorious 2-1
  18. You sure you're just drinking?
  19. If this is what physically worn out looks like I hope the Lightning hit us a ton next round
  20. WE GIVE YOU HOPE AND THEN WE CRUSH YOU
