    I haven't read a lot of the post game stuff...was it explained why Bishop left the game, came back in and left again? Injury that threatens to keep him out?

    ? Really I didn't get that impression at all from the game? Of course I always thought it would be a tough series but nothing I saw tonight, in a near must win at home, suggested that this is the hardest team we've played in the playoffs. i said they were the best team they've faced. i'm not ranking teams based on 2 games. Yeah but your post seemed to imply that this game proves it. I wasn't all that impressed with them. I think Hawks in 6. They will split the next 2 and Hawks win the rest

    Hawks are 10-1 in the playoffs when they are outshot and 3-5 when they outshoot their opponent

    Over 2 minutes of 6 attackers and we didn't even control the puck in our zone once. When other teams do it they are peppering shots at the net the entire time. Poor showing at the end. Overall I think the Hawks outplayed them by a decent amount. Just one of those games.

    Sharp has been mostly bad the entire playoffs but now we can actually focus on it.

    I know...weird having the extra day between games 1 and 2, and not between 2 and 3 when there's travel involved.

    If you have your challenge, it's valid the entire game, is it not? If Williams hadn't used it on the safe/out at second early on, it would have been available for him to demand a challenge on the pickoff. I believe once it's been used, you can ask nicely but the umps don't have to oblige. Do you think the umps were like "yeah we could grant you this critical review, but the Cubs guys already went through their handshake line and its after midnight so nah"?

    TB was 41-0-2 this year including playoffs when leading after 2

    Depends on who they get rid of. Don't know what Sharp's value is anymore but if they get anything for him, it's a success. Same with Bickell. Those two I wouldn't mind losing at all. The last sell off the sold high in many ways. Particularly with Bickell they'd be selling low. Will be interesting to see what they do this offseason. But I'll worry about it more in a coupe weeks. Right. That was a different scenario where the core was all in their early to mid 20s. Now they are in their mid to late 20s to early 30s. I think at this point you can take some more long term risks by doing salary dumps
