    It’s been 37 games since the last time we went back to back games without giving up a HR. We were 7 outs away!

    Guys I don't know what to do with myself to fully appreciate what we have here. My entire life I've been going through the QB carousel, watching stupid JT O'Sullivan breakdowns, making excuses for why our latest QB of the future doesn't have what he needs to succeed, etc etc. My entire life we've at best had coaches who don't make things worse, but rarely coaches who make things better. We have some gaping holes defensively, by no means are we are perfect team, but we have something very special and I just don't think I am appreciating it enough. It just feels so weird after all the struggle to be pretty damn convinced that we have the coach and the QB. We are starting to look like the team other fanbases envy because we have that sexy cool coach who makes offense look easy and the QB who is so in lock step with said sexy coach that he almost starts sounding like him. Our boy looked in full command of the offense today, I don't remember any truly terrible decisions and only a couple of throws that could be considered inaccurate. He was comfortable and composed and confident in his ability to throw to any of his guys. It's just incredible and hard to believe. If only our defense could be even average (and while disappointing, 2 of our best players on defense today were rookies playing in their first game which is encouraging)

    The Cubs playoff odds plummeted to…. 98.8% after today

    Kyler Murray left the game today with a concussion. The Bears play the Vikings next Sunday so very possible we get Wentz or JJ

    Also the DBacks are down 5-1 so good chance they’re 5 up with 12 to play (4 up and the tiebreaker)

    How are we in trouble? We haven’t clinched anything but the worst we can be is 4 games ahead of a playoff spot (with another team between us and another team tied with us) with 12 to play. They woke up today with 99.1% playoff odds. Not certain but we’re in a great spot

    Well they didn’t lose the next 2 but pretty on point to win by 10 on Friday followed by 2 one run games the rest of the series

    Definitely get the matchup reason but I hate bringing in someone with 2 outs and the tying run on base. Come on get the out

    Those 2 double plays really killed momentum and kept his pitch count down. Both came with 0 outs and potential high stress innings

    It has been 35 games since the Cubs have gone 2 consecutive games without allowing a HR. They've allowed a HR in 29 of those 35 games and 62 total HRs in those 35 games.

    I just can't take this team seriously. Almost guaranteed to be a HR allowed every game, frequently with runners on. 12 runs yesterday, 2 so far today. Frustrating
