  1. Yikes Rome’s dad is having a day on Twitter
  2. Also makes me question Maye's success a bit too. No doubt he's been awesome, but the Pats have had the easiest SOS in the league this year by a large margin (their opponents winning percentage is .357, the 2nd easiest SOS so far is Buffalo at .431). But not only that, they have the easiest remaining SOS in the league too by a decent margin (.358 vs. .382 for the 2nd easiest remaining SOS). Jayden Daniels also had a really light SOS last year and we've seen the Commanders come crashing back down the earth with a more difficult slate this year (albeit with injuries including to Daniels himself) But seriously though, the Pats schedule this year might be one of the easiest I've ever seen.
  3. My buddy was saying that Loveland should have fallen at the 1 and the Bears kick a FG and I told him if we did that we’d rush to the line to spike it and commit a false start that would give them a 10 second run off and end the game.
  4. Being a Bears fan is hard work
  5. He said after the game they told him to stay close to the bag so that he didn’t get doubled up on a line drive which we’ve seen happen to the Jays multiple times in the series. I dunno, I thought Schneider was awful in the World Series. Seemed like he made so many questionable decisions.
  6. It is and yet, I don’t think there’s been a team closer to winning a World Series without winning it. Yes other teams have blown 9th inning game 7 leads but I don’t think they had the bases loaded with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th after blowing it and then inches from winning it at the plate or winning it from 2 OF crashing into each other. Or the tying run on 3rd with 1 out in the 11th. It’s pretty crazy just how close they got multiple times
  7. Sure the Dodgers have won 2 straight World Series and probably have the most talented team of all time but hey they could use 6 more WAR in RF so time to back up the Brinks truck for Tucker Also, might as well scoop up those Japanese players that are being posted. Bench could use some upgrades
  8. Damn Swift and Roshon out so the backfield is a 7th round rookie, a WR with a bad groin and a ST guy
  9. Yeah I don't know if anyone uses this site: https://moneypuck.com/teams.htm but a majority of the stats seem to suggest the Hawks have gotten very fortunate this year (their GD to xGD difference is the largest in the league for one). Many of the statistics still have the Hawks looking like a bottom 10 team but at least one thats closer to the top of the bottom 10, which is an improvement for sure.
  10. Not that he's way off base but jersey's posts in this thread make me want to jump off a bridge
  11. I’m so annoyed. I lost 2 hours of sleep staying up through the 17th inning before finally giving in and going to sleep only for it to end right after I turned it off plus the Dodgers won. Wish Will Smiths bomb in like the 13th or 14th had just gone out lol. Epic game anyways, reminds me of why I love baseball.
  12. Lmao
  13. I'm still not mad about not taking Maye. Don't listen to what people will tell you in hindsight. I'm convinced that 32/32 GMs would have taken Caleb 1.01. That said, the reports about him basically not doing any due diligence on any of the other QBs is concerning in general.
  14. horsefeathers I hate how familiar it feels going onto social media on a Monday and reading tons of "I watched the film and it's not as bad as I initially thought" takes. Even if true, I feel like we've been in this cycle for years.
  15. It really is bizarre how DJ is like an afterthought in the offense. Every time he catches a pass I'm like 'oh yeah, we still have him"
  16. I think talking about Bagent is a bit extreme, but it is fair to grade Caleb on an extremely tough scale. Elite QBs rarely ever make a read like he did on the interception especially with Monangai open over the middle. (PS checking down seems to be a major issue for Caleb the last few weeks). If he wants to be an elite QB he needs to not make that decision or throw the ball accurately where only Rome can get it. He is not accurate at all right now when he has time to throw. I don't know if it's footwork, trouble seeing over the linemen in the pocket (at lot of his clean pocket throws seem to sail) or he's just not an accurate QB, but he needs to fix it. I think even he would want to be graded on an elite QB scale.
  17. Clearly it had a huge effect as they were defending like it was Lamar out there when it was only Temu Lamar.
  18. This would be a good way to get him in the game and see him run the offense while making it look like Caleb sat because the game was out of reach
  19. 2 passing TDs and 3 INTs for Caleb the last 4 games.
  20. Whenever he has a clean pocket he makes his worst throws. It’s unbelievably perplexing. I’m questioning things
  21. Yeah but they only had 3 possessions. About to score for the 3rd time in 4 possessions. But your point stands we should have had the lead
  22. Huntley is destroying us. I’m not surprised that he’s doing well with our secondary today but didn’t expect 12/13 for 146 yards
  23. I’m just not liking what I’m seeing from Caleb. I’m disappointed.
  24. I called that before the 3rd down play. What a joke.
  25. Reminds me of this from Greg Olson as the Ravens start near their 40:
