Funny because that was the game the Cubs blew a 6-2 lead in the top of the 9th before winning on a Castro single in the 11th. Miggy did have 2 dongs in that game though. -

Obviously we don't know if this contributed at all but I didn't like last week when they skipped Price's last start, which means he had 11 days off before this start. I think the Cubs with Arrieta and Dodgers with Kershaw made the right decision. The Jays should have started Price and limited to 70-80 pitches (or whatever number they wanted) to keep him on his normal routine. Maybe this is just confirmation bias but Cole was on 9 days rest yesterday

I can't believe this is what they want after the ratings the Cubs got last night. I know I've been reading you guys debating the NY/LA thing today and obviously my judgement is biased but the Mets and Dodgers don't even seem like compelling teams -
Maddon just said the rotation goes: G1: Lester G2: Hendricks G3: Arrieta G4: Probably Hammel but might be using him sooner

The great ARCubsFan in all his Cardinal loving glory, compared 2015 Cubs/Cardinals to 2009 Blackhawks/Red Wings. I was shocked no one jumped all over that. For non-hockey fans, 2009 was the first year the Blackhawks made the playoffs in 7 years, they played their most hated rival who in recent history dominated hockey (sound real familiar?) and lost the series 4 games to 1. -
1. Arrieta 2. Lester 3. Lackey 4. Hendricks ?

So off hand it seems like the Cubs are slightly better than 50/50 chance of winning the NLCS if we were to advance and probably 55/45 to beat the AL team in the world series. Does that sound right?
