    We’ll surely talk ourselves into being hopeful again next year. The ****** thing is the NFL offseason is so damn long. It’s another 10 months of my life that goes by without having a good NFL team to be proud of. Weve only really had like 3-4 years in my Bears watching life where I was actually proud to be a Bears fan because my team was actually legitimately good. Really just 2006, 2010 and 2018. 2001 was a fluke, 2005 our offense was so bad we had a fatal flaw. A few other decent years where we were more balanced but blew chances to make the playoffs.

    That’s the hot analytics trend. 50% chance of converting a 2 point conversion. Figure you’ll get one of the 2 tries. If you get it the first time the XP is for the win. If you get it the second time you go to OT. But the point is OT avoidance where it’s a coin flip anyways

    I’m a big fan of the go for 2 down 8 thing. But it stings like hell when they don’t get it

    definitely like what I’ve seen from Caleb today. Absolutely not perfect but this was a tough defensive assignment and he’s poised. Nice play there where he scanned the field, knew exactly where Kmet would be as his checkdown in the zone and quickly flinged it his way as soon as he scanned the field to get 8 on a play that was going nowhere. And he just threw his first passing TD since London

    Sucks that we play again on Thursday. 0 chance we fire a coach in a short week and then we’re 4-8 so might as well play out the season in the minds of the owners who are too focused on the next failed stadium site anyways

    If you force your coach to give up a FG to go for it on 4th down you’d better not overthrow a fairly easy pass. of course the whole thing was rushed and chaotic because they originally brought out the FG unit and already blew a TO on an unsuccessful challenge. Poor coaching compounds
