Signing of the Stars is the most ridiculous yet awesome thing ever.

Bet you wouldn't say that if he had a burnt orange or purple shirt under there haha
  3. 41-9 and 25-0 runs after starting up 15-4 yeesh IU shooting 61%, UM shooting 28%
  4. i havent watched a ton either but it seems to me like he doesn't have the pieces needed to run "Hoiball". I think assuming GarPax survives this season they will start building the team to fit his style.

Don't forget Jeets and Brady. Also Harbaugh wrote an article for The Player's Tribune today about how great Ann Arbor/UM is which I would call very shrewd timing.
  6. Right and despite absolutely no comments regarding why he is retiring you presume it's because the Lions are inept.
  7. What does Lions ineptitude have to do with them retiring? Maybe a little for Barry but he could have easily forced himself out of town and same with Calvin. lions have made the playoffs in 2 of the last 4 seasons and were a Rodgers Hail Mary from finishing the season winning 7 of their last 8. I highly doubt he's retiring because the team sucks. Barry said that was the reason so yeah, a lot more than a little bit. He said he'd retire unless released or traded to contender and the Lions refused if memory serves, If Calvin was winning and playing in SBs I highly doubt he'd be retiring. Like half the 49ers retired one season removed from a conference title game and 2 years removed from a super bowl.

  9. Sort of. He agreed to take time to reconsider which he very well could considering it's only been a month since his season ended. I read that as, he told Caldwell right after the season that he would take time to reconsider, and this is his decision after that period.
  10. Aaaaand Megatron is no more.
  11. Disagree 100 percent. A hitter who slashes 280/350/450 absolutely has more business hitter at the top of the order than one who hits 280/300/500. The top of the order hitters are table setters, and so you want those players to get on base at a high rate for your middle of the order hitters to drive in. The idea that it doesn't matter whether a highly disciplined hitter hits second or sixth is ridiculous. Here's a pretty detailed analysis: http://www.retrosheet.org/Research/RuaneT/lineup_art.htm

Do the right thing Rashan Gary
  13. Is the "smart" baseball philosophy still that lineup construction has minimal effect at best over a full season?
  14. One of the strangest things about this Bulls team is that they have almost no supporting cast in place, which over the past decade or so has been a consistent strength. When Derrick, Jimmy and Pau are pulling their weight they can win many games, but if one or two of them are off and you have to rely on Taj, Niko, Snell, McDermott and/or Moore to produce its a gamble every time.
  15. That sequence where Jimmy scored, then stole it, had a breakaway layup and then stole it again and had another breakaway layup was awesome. Based on watching only 1 Lakers game, Russell looks like a disaster.
  16. ?????? Hurt Michigans best player
  17. So this happened tonight:
  18. Who knows maybe the Rockies will spin him off in a separate deal
  19. Really glad they got to beat up on the bottom of the Big Ten while Caris heals, although the longer he is out with no timeline the more I worry if he's ever coming back.
  20. Crazy that less than 10 years ago the Hawks used to pay the Score to air their games.
  21. i had one about power rankings that got more. Ok fine it was about the cardinals hacking mess
  22. Yeah back and hammy injuries. Win in Cleveland lose at home against Miami sounds about right
  23. It just dawned on me how the ending of the Pats-Broncos game was similar to the end of the Bears-Broncos game earlier this year. yesterday, Pats down 20-12 in the 4th, had 4th down within FG range twice, and failed to convert both times instead of kicking a FG, ended up scoring a TD with seconds remaining but failed the 2 point conversion and couldn't recover the onside kick In December, Bears were down 17-9 in the 4th, had a 4th down within FG range once, failed to convert instead of kicking a FG, scored a TD with seconds remaining but failed the 2 point conversion and didn't recover onside kick. Doesn't mean anything but thought it was mildly interesting enough to draw the parallel between the 2 games against the same team.
  24. Washington and Miami are garbage. Agreed however Washington and especially their bigs always seem to give the Bulls problems. I have no idea about Miami as the Bulls haven't played them this year and have yet to play them with Dragic, Bosh, Wade and Whiteside all playing but they seem to be your average run of the mill Eastern Conference team
