    The thing I hate about a Schwarber Soler quasi platoon is that there is no good way to combine their names to sound cool like Bryzzo. So I can't say "Cubs best lineup minus Schwarler/Solerber"

    Soler's could not be more perfect. another observation: "I Will Always Love You" was number 1 for a long time. Oh yeah, I was only 11 but I remember my mom playing the Bodyguard soundtrack on repeat for like 4 months straight, wanted to bang my head against the wall towards the end of that run.

    The fact that it happens every year doesn't make it suck any less. It feels different this year too. But with the playoff set up the way it is, is it really? Once again, it looks like the Hawks will play the Blues in the 1st round. What will be really interesting to see is if the Kings can secure home ice. That would mean the Stars would get the Preds, whom they might have trouble beating as opposed to the Avalanche. Also Hawks are only 4 points ahead of Nashville and they have a game in hand. If the slump continues we could be looking at a first round against LAK

They should be able to get everyone at least 500 PAs (i think it was 500) by: -Giving each of them rest partially by having a very loose platoon (i.e. Heyward might get a rest day against a particularly difficult LHP, Fowler same against RHP), but also just building in off days. -Schwarber will likely be assigned to primarily catch 1 pitcher (Hammel) and take most/all DH opportunities -If Heyward or Fowler is sitting, Soler can shift to RF, with Heyward to CF if its Fowler that's sitting There is no reason why Montero should need to be forced out of the lineup.

    Deadspin pointed out a couple of crazy things that I didn't even realize about the comeback as I watched: -UNI shot 0 FTs during the comeback -Texas A&M only made one 3 pointer during the comeback So you're telling me a team was down 12 points with 44 seconds left and managed to take things to OT without having to foul once, and only making a single 3 pointer? Insane.
